I'm about 7 days out till harvest,I've done my two weeks of flushing I've been using molasses for about the past 5 weeks one and a half to two teaspoons per gallon I've just noticed in the last few days extreme swelling of the calyxs and to my distain splitting of a few so I assume I missed some nanas recently,my trichomes are not as abundant as my last grow which was my first and they are at the point I want them to be nice and milky but I don't know what to do in regards to having beans I'm not used to having a situation like that I've always only had females.these pictures were taken 3 days ago but as I'm currently writing this I'm in my first 5 hours of complete darkness and I plan to keep them in darkness for two and a half days and then chop them about an hour before the time the lights would normally come on can anybody give me any feedback on the pros and cons of the 48 hour. And also any other feedback on what I should do in regards to notice things seeds in the last 4 to 5 days I had no idea there was any pollination and only started noticing the splitting of the calyces about 3 to 4 days ago a day or two before these pictures.20141106_204531.jpg

If youre only a week out and youre not going to fuck up another harvest i would just let it ride and chop in a week and start over with better genetics.

what I'm really trying to figure out is I was sure that they were ready,I only had waited because I wanted to flush completely and then all of a sudden they started forming beans and are starting to look like they're not ready now its like thdyre reverting if that's even possible!should I let the beans mature or should I chop them mis bean production I don't want the beans but is it going to make my smoke taste like crap having half formed beans in my nugs?and is the 48 hours of complete darkness going to increase bean production or is it going to boost my THC production which is what I was aiming for?

Beans mean there were nanners a while ago. If theyre fully developed youre looking at over a month im pretty sure. I would wait til your plants are all the way done if its not gonna hurt any of your harvest. The beans are.gonna be 50/50 chance of hermy though.

maybe I wrote it the wrong way what I'm saying is my buds were fully developed, nice milky white trichomes and I was doing my 2 week flush so that I can chop them, and half way through my 2 week flush is when I started noticing some of the calyxes splitting and white bean poking their heads out. I'm pretty sure the beans are not fully developed but I don't want to screw up my harvest by letting the beans fully develop, from what i can see, they are just in the beginning stages of bean production and I only noticed a few splits maybe 7 or 8 per plant and when I say split I mean that a few calyxes split and i see underneath what looks like a white seed they definitely do not look fully developed the seeds I mean. The buds are ready, they were ready when I started my flush 10 days ago but it was only 3 days ago that I visibly noticed the development of seeds that were not present 10 days ago when I started my Flush.

so you recommend that I keep to my schedule of chopping them in 2 days?or let the seeds develop even though I don't want them

thank you that's what I wanted to hear I misunderstood you at first and thought you were telling me to let thm go longer.
Nope. I meant dont chop outside of your schedule unless your herms would fuck up other plants.

yeah my schedule is sunday morning because it fit's my work schedule and I have the whole day free and I based my flushing according to chopping on this Sunday but I made that decision to chop 2 weeks ago before I ever noticed any beans.since then it doesn't seem like trichome production has decreased but it definitely has not increased and like I said I've noticed the splitting calyxes which were a complete surprise to me cuz I never saw any nanas, don't know how I missed them.but having seeds is a brand new experience for me and I didn't know if i should change anything in my original plans to chop this Sunday due to having seed development now.

Not that I'm a professional, and not that I know the strain, but I feel your plants are a little more then a week from finish, and is entirely possible due to bein seeded. Seeds slow everything down. Your hairs are all white and it has that not all the way filled in look, just my opinion.

I agree with RyanTrees and I'm not a professional either, but those hairs are still straight and white based on that 1st picture. Based on everything I've read and seen, that normally means at least another 2 weeks and very likely as many as 3 - 4 weeks. Sorry I can't help you with the nutsack question, but it would seem to me that a few seeds in fully mature buds is better than seedless, immature buds.

You aren't done yet. If you cut early you will have premature bud with premature seed. Use the seed as your guide and cut it down when the seeds are mature.

I doubt the entire plant is seeded. Usually its just a few male flowers that pop out half-way through flowering. It's common with many of today's hybrids. If you continue to grow this strain you will have to look for the male flowers next time and remove them before they mature and open up. It takes a skilled eye to find them but it is what is required to do.
