Hi all new to forum and RDWC have done ebb flow once and soil a few times understand most of basics. Presently setting up and would value any advice.
I have read all beginners info on most sites, best on this site by far
Set up as follows
three girls pure ak47 in 4" net pot ( one in each bin only allowed three girls my wife says)
Will scrog them use a two inch squares galvenised grid 9 inches above bin.
3 x 50lt bin holds 40lt of nutreint. Is this big enough to grow trees am cutting down 80lt bins so could be bigger
each bin will have 600w air cooled light
Bins will be feed fronm a 300lt caspity nutreint tank set in the ground so return is gravity feed. extrenal pump on nuteint tank. nuteint tank has stainless steel cooling coil controled by themosat and vavle. Nutreint tank in seperate room from lights.
Trying to decide if to use 1 x 450lt per min air pump to run 12 , 12 inch aqua fizz air stones 4 in each bin or look in to a needel wheel pump or ventrui power head read quite a lot on benefits of these oppessed to air stones.
Have all ways used house and garden nutreints would liker to continue
Outlet on bins will have a small screen with home made stainless stell mesh filter keeps roots out
cant deceide where to but inlet in from top and let it break surafce of water or under nuterint level
Envioremnt is spot on and dialed.
feel slightly uninformed aboutr feeding seems to be a lot of differnt advice some say never go above 0.7EC in DWC. I thought i would start low look and listen to the girls while trying to find the right level for ak47.
May be do a journal and look for guideance from more exspreiced members.
Seems like a lot of poorly spelled text, oh well
