im trying this switch over to led light deal ,., this is the light being used http://www.ebay.com/itm/VIPAR-5W-Series-C2X4-600W-LED-Grow-Light-High-Power-Full-Spectrum-Veg-Bloom-Lamp-/121375238842?pt=US_Hydroponics&hash=item1c42872aba this is in a 2x4 tent with a 4inch inline fan exaust hooked up to a carbon srubber inside the tent ,, has a fan inside to circulate air... also have 2 4 inch ductings running inside the tent at the bottom producing fresh cold air 66-69 degrees of cold air .. the thermo is saying its climbing into the high 80's sometimes 90's? very hot space tent is in some days it gets to 100 degrees nights 80ish ... night time i can somewhat control temps but during the day no bueno either way i think this light gives of more heat then they claim..... any advice from led growers an how they properly setup or then tent to control temps?

And yes led lights pump heat, thus the requirement for large heat sink. Pump hot air out the top of your tent
i hear ya it was just an experiment looking to try it out so didnt wana drop tons of coin... an yes hot air is being pumped out threw top of tent witha 4inch inline exaust

I had purchased a pair of led nights from china and they worked well. It wasn't until I bought of pair of Area 51 led's that I realized how warm my previous led lights ran.

Being cheap just wastes money on junk fans and lights. You get what you pay for.
understandable but this isnt a cheap crap out debate i have many other lights hps.mh exc.. so im in no bind this was just a a little experiement an who knows maybe i can take this panel an modify it to be very efficiant so lets not bash here as i know what i got myself into now i am just wondering what others with "cheap similair chinese junk lights" are doing aswell as going thrw with similair/....

If that fan is not getting it done then your led is really putting off the btu or your intake temps are too high.
gotcha intake temps are actually pretty cold i have 2 4 inch ducts running in behind the tent threw the back side producing very cold air maybe not being pulled in enough but its coming in i tapped into the houses ac with ducting

Mr snaps provolone is right I'm currently 800$ away from AT600 in which I've been saving . Don't buy Chinese if you can buy American made . Mr snaps , obviously hates the Chinese junk and I don't blame him . Proof is in grow reviews from other users . But hey , A for effort , but I'll give you a D for not doing your homework . Good day strangerpower
