Definitely recommend tents. They give more options for controlling environmental variables than a closet can. I've found tents to be something where "good enough" is good enough. Gonna have to retire my shitty $120 5x5 tent after this run. Looking at a cheapie like this to replace it:

Rather splurge on more important things, like good soil, a really good grow light or a ton of different seeds to pick from.

Just wanted to have a simple discussion on mushroom cultivation with people that have ANY experience I inoculated 6 pf tek jars 3 weeks ago and have alot to talk about. Any input would be much appreciated.

I'd love to..I've been dosing for years...there's a good friend of mine that's been here for me since my Situations happened..he sat with me 2 weeks ago and we dosed..like I said I took close to 6g then...I've noticed the outlook some people have is wrong..they compare it to LSD..I've done both in my time..I'm not against LSD. But also I don't put shrooms and LSD in the same group..shrooms come from the earth and can HELP with alot of Trauma, at the same time understanding that they will make u see or understand things u might not want or be ready for...LSD is man made and is a whole other subject..last time I did LSD I was in my 20's...today I stick with bud and shrooms . Same thing I told my daughter..her friend was curious about shrooms. I did alot of explaining and made it clear it's not a party thing, it's a Medication and used to help open parts of the subconscious mind..I thought about growing them..I know someone that has...they said its easy..with what I have on my plate of life now growing bud is my focus, but at some point down the road in the future I'd like to explore that opinion. Last Journey was amazing me and my buddy tripped and smoked like a half zip of bud in my living room. The next day I had so Clarity and understanding..on that Journey I was shown time didn't matter, how life is in our heads, how Reality is just our perspective idk it's hard to explain. But thank you for the info..I'd love to open up about it...one thing I will say every time I've dosed , everytime..I heard from the shrooms to let go and allow the Journey to take control not me...alot of people including myself tend to want to control what's happening, you can't, I tried lol, it won't workout.

Thank you..I was thinking the same, what's a good light to invest into..I used happy frog dirt..I kept notes on this grow and what I was thinking next round is maybe putting together my own dirt..I've been keeping Eggshells, Coffee grounds..I want to make a compost for spring. I have a huge backyard and this spring I want to be ready to plant a few outside . It's hard to explain but with this whole amazing experience I get this visions/goals and I see and want to compare outside grows to inside. I want to experience both sides.. I want to get into Edibles..I know a few people who can't smoke because they ain't fans of it. But want to try edibles, they just are scared because of trust issues..so I told them once I crop mine I'd come by with the leftovers and Scraps and we could make butter and make something they could have ..

Hey Mid I got your pm, was looking in the wrong place lol..

Anyhow as far as tents go, imo they let u do a lot more in a small space. Lots of people like to use one for veg and another for flower. It lets you do a purpetual grow so you can keep things cruising along. You can have different environments, different strains, times, it just gives you more options using the same room

Ok thank you..I figured around end of January beginning of February I'd like to get a tent..I've been looking for awhile at them on Amazon..they are cool looking..I'm not trying to do 5-10plants at a time..more like 2-4 each round..what sizes do you recommend. I really want to thank u for all the info and Conversation..

Would this work?? My goal once I'm able to upgrade is having a setup to where I can grow 3-6 plants max..in my basement I have this room.that I plan on using right now I'm using a closet..but I have goals to upgrade

It ultimately depends on the square footage of the grow space. A 240watt light like the one you posted would probably be just good enough to flower a 3x3 tent. That would work out to around 26watts per square foot, which most would consider kinda low, but it would work. I usually see posters saying that at least 30-40watts per square foot is closer to ideal for LED. There's a pretty direct relationship between wattage and yield. A weaker light will tend to give smaller yields and/or fluffier buds.

Hey no problem. I guess it depends on how much free space you have. If you already got a spot in mind what will fit best, square or rectangle? Does that area give access to good air exchange? If your only gonna gonna do 3 or 4 plants a 3x3, or a 2x4 would suffice. Remember this hobby can be quite addicting, another tent would likely be in your future :weed:

Also tent size and shape will also dictate which light/lights will work best for your set up

Here's where I'm planning..maybe a 4x4 tent then a 2×2 for curing . And then use the closet as a Nursery type things

This is my background. The pic doesn't do justice for how big it really is..my plan Is to be ready for spring and put a few lady's back there too...and do a outside crop. Always nature to do her thing and enjoy my summer days and night back there..and see how them plants grow outside. Take that Experience and knowledge and use it for indoor grows and References..God this hobby is endless lol

If you've got neighbors close to your house, growing outdoors is more risky in an illegal state. Did my first outdoor grow this summer. Had an especially loud girl that my neighbor could easuly smell from his driveway a couple hundred feet away.

That window in the picture with the outlet by it .I going to use that window plus I'm planting flowers out that window and my neighbors nextdoor smoke so they won't mind the smell.

I thought about that..last summer I paid attention to neighbors the ones on each side of me are real laid back and cool and partake themselves in smoking. The ones behind me smoke themselves. This summer would be a test . Plant 5-10 girls back there and see what happens. What's your thoughts on rain water. My buddy gave me a big plastic drum for collecting rain water..I read it's good to use rain water
