new strains advice

ive been working on crossing some strains fo about 2 cycles. ive mixed a goo father x ss haze and goo again with ak-47. ive gotten like 10 variations of each kind. ive narrowed it down and bred in the ak-goo i wanted (i think) and with the goo ss-haze cross i got 2 really good variations one that took the sweet smell of the haze but the plant growth, structure and yield of goo(strawberry blonde). and one that smells like sour milk with a skunky-lime taste(silverwood dream, really stoney and kindof smells like a pond in the summertime when the algae starts drying) if i breed them back to the original goo male will it lockin or will i still have multiple variations again or should i just keep cloning and keep it elite? i really wanna have a ack up in case shit happens. any answers would be great. will definatly put pics up soon gotta get a camera.

The more you backcross offspring with their parental stock the more homogeneous the traits for that strain will be. If you keep backcrossing the offspring with the Goo eventually you'll have something exhibiting most of the Goo's traits that should breed pretty true for those phenotypes that you selected for.

I agree, it takes many backrosses to get it fairly uniform. Sour milk, skunk lime sounds delicious. Keep up the good work, got some excellent genetics in there.

umm theres a good post by sic i think you should read its in this section.. i wont find it as itys late and i think youl be able to easily enough. its good info from greg greens book im fairly sure .
