This one line causes me discomfort:
Cool air can hold less moisture than warm air, so as the air cools, condensation occurs, which releases heat.

I had a 5ft drift right outside my door..... the only reason I was even able to get anywhere is because some nice guy with a tractor and a snowblower cleared our road... : /Thundersnow is what will happen to the mediumerer storms. Speaking of which, how's the snow out in your neck of East coast, @Ceepea ? Still at 2m and counting?
9 ton snowplows getting stuck left, right, and center....

Un-fuckin-believable. I was seeing the stories on CBC and couldn't comprehend it. I also laughed as the weatherman made special efforts to block Vancouver's temps while discussing the the rest of the Nation's fun in -30degC temps.
Seriously...I feel sorry for you people out there. Except for that genius in the T-shirt. Either he's built tough or dumb. Although, I imagine one becomes acclimated after a couple years, eh? So it doesn't come as much of a shock?
