Hello all. New guy coming in to learn, share and enjoy. I've been kinda lurking around trying to learn as much as possible for the past few months and thought it was about time to finally introduce myself. I'm not new to the main topics but I'm very new to growing. On my first grow, I wanted something somewhat easy just to get my feet wet. I opted for a few auto fems. -Auto acid, Automaria II, and Pandora. (Auto collection from Paradise seeds via Attitude) freebies were Fem Wappa, Cr+, and fruity chronic juice. My setup is in a spare 8x9 room. Filtered Intake from floor A/C vent, and exhaust through sealed and filtered bedroom window. 2 floor tower oscillating fans, 12 60w 2700k cfl's with large reflector made fro 10" sheet metal duct. 5 gal buckets, all purpose organic potting soil, perlite, worm castings and will prob end up using alaska nutes and/or dyna-gro. I also have some organic compost w/ steer manure that may or may not be used with these. First grow along with a VERY LIMITED income (disability and epilepsy), I'll just slowly work my way up to a better setup when I become more competent. Seedlings are 2 days old. Thatd prolly. be fine for a few but youll need to get a hid for best results imo

Wondering if you guys think theyre doing ok. 3weeks old. Noticed some yellowing on the tips, and lower leaves are also becoming lighter/yellowing. These are all autos on 18/6. Have been giving them distilled water, all purpose potting soil, perlite. Didnt realize it until later that the perlite I bought had MG nutrients/fertilizer. :-/

One of the most common errors for new growers is over watering. It can cause odd colors. Looks like youre doing well so far though. If you have a bag of manure and youre on a budget, you may want to look into compost teas. Theyre a good way to fertilize on the cheap. Banana peels, organic material, some type of sugar, that kinda stuff. You can build your own worm bin and feed the worms. Its kinda fun.

I started with a bunch of cfls too. It wont take you long to figure out that theyre not optimal for flowering cannabis. They work well for vegging it, well ok, but even a 400 watt hps will flower better than an 6 bullb 4 foot t5 florecent tube fixture pumping over 400 watts.

6 x 12 = 720 actual. 1 bulb each will do for a few more days for plants the size in ur pics.. GOT YOUR PENS? Fiddle with ur soil, make sure it drains WELL(add clean coarse sand) b4 transplanting. I use some Alaska fertz. but am not in the know about there whole line, do yourself a favor and get a 2 or 3 part mix formulated for Ganj. Where did you hear Autos would be easier than Photos? They are not. CFLs can be alright for un-topped autos.( easy to rig side lighting), but you will need a bunch of 2700s. I grow with CFLs.. If u are going to stay with CFLs. switch to photos (topping + lst= flat canopy), something easy to start (many banks state degree of difficulty) Where did you get 60w actuals? Id like some. Don't let you probs. fester b4 asking 4 help. Good luck
