ok i rinised the meter with distled water used a paper towel to tap it
and dry it off then went into CAL mode it asked for 7.01. so i put it
in the 7.01 pack...then it asked for 4.01 rinshed it off with distled
water..taped it slighty on the paper towl to dry it off put it in the
4.01 then it said ok so its calbrated...
so then i test it i rinshed the meter with distled water dry it off
with the paper towel tapeing it...then i open a new pack of 7.01 after
turning the meter off an on to make sure it cleared i waited untill
the ph number got to 0 then put it in i keep getting differnt
readings..then i did the same with the 4.0 same thing happen..i also
CAL then PPM in us mode with HI1413 buffer solution and cleaned off my
meter dry it again with the paper towel and my ppm reads 703 when
putting it into a new pack of buffer solution here are my reading from
the ph..is this a bad meter or the best im gonna get to being close?

I'm sorry I can't help you! But this is why I have stuck with their first continuous combo meter. Just too many things going on in those newer ones. I like calibrating via trimmer screws.

I wouldn't tap the electrode at all. Simply rinse with water, dry off, than blow on it real hard, until you're satisfied it's dry. Tapping it on shit is a sure fire way to mess it up.

You can contact Hanna factory

It's in the NE.

If you search, you will likely find a distributor in Atlanta, who will not be of much help

so look for the factory link
