i grow coco but i hear a lot of people on here bigging up fox farm soils, they are organic too i think.

with regards to a good strain, i would recommend blue cheese, if you find a good pheno you will never look back.

Lot of choices out there concerning soils.....Fox Farms is certainly a fav of some....my fav and current usage is Humboldt Organic....It's nuteless, has great consistancy and is packaged with perlite in it already. Out of the many I've tried, it has been the most forgiving........allows me to use my nutes as I wish....my baby plants soon become bushes full of delicious nerbs....
A few of my friends have recently voted Lemon Skunk as a fav smoke with great taste and effectiveness.....I've currently got some indica strains going that I'm looking forward to.....Royal Queeen Blue Mystic, Green Poison (sweet seeds) and Kannabia White Dominca.

Mg soil will be just fine do not let people tell you its shit because its not..
As for piff i would go with a couple of kush strains or white widow, haze strains...all of those seem to be piff
