So i am building my new grow room tomorrow, Its actually the flower room. I recently moved into a new house, and now have a dedicated bed room ime using for the flowering room. Veg room is all set. The total dimentions of the room ar 12x14' plus a 6x3ish closet attached to it. I have only 2 1000 watt lights at the moment and plan on sticking with the 2 for at least a couple more cycles, so obviously ime not gonna be using the whole bedroom right away. i plan on running a variation of a sea of green. and i want to do 10-15 plants per cycle, i have 6 plants flowering right now under 1000watss, and i have 12 plants about 3 ft tall all lolli popped ready to move into the new room after the build. I am buying all the lumber etc. tomorrow, and going to do the build in the afternoon. So any advice? this is a list of my equipment
1. 8" HO intake/exaust fan
2. LG Can filter
3. 2 sun system XXXL 8" reflector
4. hortilux bulbs
5 Grow media- Organic soil grow in smart pots, all organically

i have a attic and want to start my first grow...the attic is finish its about 800sqft with a walkin closet about 4x4.. i was thinking about making the closet the germ and mother room and using the rest of the attic for budding. i have two windows and the crawl space (with the lil doors) on the side which have the ac duct for my house. i was thinking i maybe able to tap in to that for exhust or the us one window for a ac and the other with a fan is that a good idea??? also with that space what could i yield?? also i NEVER grow before wht would be the best bet???

Do you only have one fan? Your going to need more fans for those hoods?
Thats what i was thinking too, Do you think i could use one for exausting both lights(8in), and then use a 6in for the carbon filter? or am i gonna need an inline fan for both of the hoods?

You could definitely use the one 8"fan to vent both hoods, but I would get another fan to vent the room. You could use the one fan to vent the hoods and the room but I don't think this would be an ideal setup? In order to use the one fan, you would need to have the fan pulling air through the filter, through both hoods, through the fan and out of the room. It might work but if your hoods are not completely sealed there is a chance of odour contaminated air being able to bypass the filter and be sucked into the hoods, without being filtered, and exhausted outside...not good at all!!
