new grinder

so I have been smoking for some time now but have just recently bought my 1st grinder. It has a keif catcher on it and my question is in the pic is all of that keif or is some of it realy ground up buds that came thru the screen and stuck to the keif? I have been using this grinder to grind about a quarter of some regs. my friend has a diff grinder and hasnt cleaned out his catcher in 3 or 4 months of use every day and it looks like alot less than what i have. any help would be great.

he probably has a finer screen then yours.
