This is my first indoor grow its going pretty well so far I have some questions which I think are pretty basic.

I purchased my clones from the medical dispensary, (3 Purple Urkel, 2 Purple AK47, 1 Lemon Kush, 2 Mr. Nice Guy's) how do I know how old they are? Ppl on here refer to their plant life as day 1, day 2, ect. To me, my plants are on day 2 with me, lol So how do I tell how old they are? I submitted some pics.

I want to keep things pretty simple but I want to do things right as well. I am using black gold soil with cocoblend, I mixed it with perlite before transplanting them into 1gal grow bags, I use foxfarm big grow (1/2 tsp per gal every other watering) seems i'll be watering every other day. I tested the PH and its only at 1.25, should I worry about that right now or let them get adjusted first? Should I adjust the PH using the PH up chemical that you buy at the hydro store and add to the water? or is there something I add to the soil, (dolimite lime?)

Should I test for, or worry about nitrogen?

Whats the easiest/cheapest filter I can put on one of the exhaust tubes when it starts to smell?

I'm sure I will have more questions, any advice/tips is appreciated!!! check out my pics! its a 600w HPS light with a homemade cool tube using hurricane glass, a lot of tape, a 6'' inline exhaust fan, and a bathroom ventilation fan blowing cool air through the tube, works great. Its a small closet, 2x7.

when fellow growers say day2 or day 45 they mean the plants have been on a 12/12 light cycle for that many days.

how are you testing the pH? is it with a meter? if so, is it calibrated correctly? 1.25 pH is VERY acidic the plant you die very quickly in this enviroment. the foxfarm nutes are balanced so that you shouldnt need to adjust the pH after mixing in the nutes. when you do need adjust the pH use pH Up or pH Down after all your nutes are mixed..

Plants LOVE nitrogen!

you can buy a carbon filter at your local hydro shop for $50-100

I have 3 bathroom fans from home depot, the ones for $12 lol I have one blowing outside air into the cool tube, then I have one blowing outside air into the room across the plants, and one just circulation air, then I also have the inline exhaust fan exhausting the cool tube. Air flow is pretty good. I love those bathroom fans altho your the first person who didn't tell me they were worthless!

How long have you had yours running? someone warned me about them catching on fire, I like the you can just use metal tape and attach duct tubing to it and aim the air anyway you want. I also sealed the fan section of mine with metal tape and created a connection with a 4'' duct tube, and I placed that tube in my bedroom window so its sucking outside air and blowing it into the room, its pretty awesome and I love how cheap they are.
I was about to replace them all with expensive duct fans since someone warned me about the fires, but now i'm rethinking it, i really dont have the money for that but i have them running 24/7.
