New Aero Prop

Hello All.
I've knocked up a DIY prop, from a tub and an ultrasonic mister/fogger, now got it fogging 15on 15 off, (it was on 15 on 45 off), done last night about 3 bells, so theyve been in just over 12 hours, solution temp is fine at 22 24 deg C, 14-18 inches under a 200 watt enviro floro, (not acctually directly under, it is actually directly over a couple mums).
I'm not using a prop lid, (everyone reckons they arn't needed), BUT they are Badly wilted, is this normal after 12 13 hours, and they will stand back up??????
I've also got some airstones in the tub to help with oxy, and the surface of the solution is only about an Inch to 1,1/4 below the baskets, so they are getting very slightly splashed by the bubbles too, (like a bubble prop).
OH yeh BTW theyre in 2 inch baskets, held in with DIY neoprene collars, (pipe insulation, and thin closed cell foam).
From what I've read folk have had good success with this type of system, and all the params seem OK.
Can anyone shed any light, give any tips??????
TIA.

mine wilted when i put them under too much light too quickly, moving them away cured it. I was using a 400w hps though, and the clones were only a couple days old without roots showing. Could have been light or the heat although its only a few degrees. They recovered immediately (like hours). My bubble clones have shown roots day 6 1/2.

Good luck!

Hi Folks.
Thanks.
They've been in now, nearly 6 days, I removed the prop cover Sunday and they don't seem to we wilting to bad now, I've also taken the fogging down to 15 0n 30 off, with an occasional 45 mins off, but they are being constantly very slightly kept moist by the bubbles bursting from the airstones, I can see signs on some of them of the stem node, where the bud/petiole was trimmed from, starting to callouse and split, but not any pre roots/bumps yet.
I'm not that happy with it, and I'm gonna order some pipe and convert it to a sprayer type, I thought the mist would be good, but it seems just spalshing em with drops could be better.
I'll report what happens.
Ta Ta.
