Net pot size and Easy Grow?

Hello I'm a newbie to growing DWC.

I have a system with 3" net pots and a 10 gallon reservoir.

I was wondering if the small size of the net pots will hinder my yield or is it all in the roots?

Also I was wondering if anyone's using the PH neutral "Sure To Grow" growing medium?

It seems like it would be better than hydroton or rockwool cubes...

(Sorry I meant to put "Sure to Grow" in my tittle, not easy to grow)

Can someone please tell me if net pot size matters much in DWC growing? I have 3 inch pots in mu system and I plant to go from start to finish with them.
Also can you move multiple net pots with plants in them without having tangled roots?

with small net pots your plants need to rely on each other for stability unless you keep them small. if you have 6 or 8 of them they will hold each other up, but it will be hard to move them once the roots get tangled.if you go start to finish there will be no need to move them.to do a res change or other stuff you just pick up the whole res lid with all the plants in there and set it in another tote or have someone hold it. i use buckets and just plop my lid and plant in an empty bucket while i clean my res. with a tote you can put 2 milk crates or chairs side by side and it will hold your lid while you work.

Hmmm
Thanks for the info.
I have one tote with eight 3" inch net pots that I was gonna use in my smaller grow area and then when flowering move them to two four net pot totes that have a much larger 10 gallon reservoir.
If the roots are tangled a bit and I cut them clear will the plants recover from it.
My plan was to grow 8 plants in one tote and take cuttings from them before they move to the flowering chamber that has a much bigger system. And that way keep a steady crop every 8-10 weeks.
