Just wondering if i can throw in neem oil into my feed, and water my coco media with it?
I hear that neem can be fed to soil, and the roots will absorb some of this neem and distribute it throughout the plant.
I am hoping the mites will then feed on some of the neem oil and have their hormones messed up. thus not being able to reproduce afterwards.
Let me know if this will work. and if you have tried this. and are doing a coco grow. I am also spraying as well. But would like to know if i can also add this neem to feed.
THX EVERYONE FOR TAKING THE TIME TO READ AND CHIME IN!!!

I only use coco and Neem will not hurt roots....but beware of the smell my friend. If you apply to the plant leaves then don't turn lights on for a while..about an hour or two if you have fans. I add to feed because I don't like giving just water to my coco, I don't know if it's good or bad to use plain water, but it is easier to add it to nutes...shake the fuck out of it though and remember the warning on smell.

yes you can add to the nutes, BUT, it wont help with small pests like whiteflies or mites but it will help with larger bugs that eat whole leaves. smaller pests dont get deep enough into the plant to actually get into the veins of the plant. its better to spray them with neem and I actully bottom feed mine, I GROW IN COCO, and also spray the whole plant, when get an infestation. works for me every time

I grow in coco and have yet to try Neem as a drench.

I use it as a spray in the following ratio: (Directions on bottle)

1 gallon RO water
10 ml Dyna-Gro Protekt
1 oz Dyan-Gro Neem Oil
Shake well and often during application on tops and bottoms of leaves.

It really gives the leaves a lot of shine and makes em' look sexy.
Have not seen a flying critter since I started using it.
