i am growing in 5 5 gallon buckets DWC. i am wanting to upgrade my air pump. i want to get the commercial elemental o2 1744 gph. thought id get a 5 way divider and run 1 line to each bucket. the buckets only have 2.5-3 gallons at a time. so 12 liters max. if google conversion is right 1744 gph = 110 lph. i figure if i split it 5 ways that will be 22 lpm to each bucket. am i thinking right? am i trying to use to big of a pump? just wondering if this is a good idea. any help would be greatly appreciated

Always go big or go home with air. Suggest buying the largest manifold you can buy. Mount that sucker to a piece of wood or something because it will add to your noise level believe it or not. Then you can add buckets or reservoirs as needed and not need to keep splitting lines. You want ALL your air lines to be EXACTLY the same length. Even if a bucket is right by the manifold. Same length as the furthest away so keep that in mind when cutting. Measure twice, cut once.

Too ensure each line receives the same amount of pressure/air?
