Needing a few things clarified

I've been looking into butane hash oil and bubble hash, but I can't seem to find any functional differences between the two. Nor can I determine which of the two I'm supposed to use for a vape pen. Can anyone help me out here? I'd appreciate it.

Well, one of those is made with ice and water, and one is made with either butane or iso or something else of the nature.. so there's that..

Either one will work in a vape pen as long as it is a full melt. Or your coil will die out faster.

Like MnH said, what is ice and water and the other is using a solvent like butane or ISO.

Its apples and oranges. Some swear by one and some the other.

My opinion, if both are done right off same material, bubble hash is good and BHO is great.

Bubblehash is usually 40-60% thc oil is usally 50-85% thc. Bubble can be used in a vape pen but only if ckean and full melt. Oil can be used in any pen. I personally love both!

Ok I think that clarifies what I was asking well enough. Although I'm super curious about this
full melt.
you're talking about? Details, please.

Also, what's the difficulty level difference between using butane or something similar versus using liquid carbon dioxide?

Full melt is just hash that fully melts like an oil. Its the highest quality hash imo. Then theres hash oil. Butane is definately easier then co2

If I had to choose between bubble bags or butane extraction im going with butane all the way. Much more potent product, better yields, both are a process so neither wins there imo, only advantage to bubble bags is no chance of them blowing up lol.

Yeah for the ease of BHO making comes the risk of fire/explosion which, if you have a brain between your head, isnt really a risk.

Outside, and no open flames/sparks and youve basically eliminated any chance of f fire/explosion.

True that. Many stories that end badly often start with something like "for stealth I'm blasting in my garage with the garage door cracked". Of course one could substitute any room of the house for "garage" and window for "garage door". :|

Made me laugh! "...advantage to bubble bags is no chance of them blowing up"

hahaha for real. And lately people have been getting fucked dewaxing inside their freezer. Most of the time its with ethanol/iso so to most people they wouldnt think too much of it but if your freezer kicks into defrost halfway through boom goes the dynamite.

Now im not going to claim im some type of safety guru because ive blasted inside before. But when i did, and they were only a few times and single can runs on like a half oz to an oz, i made sure i was next to a wide open window with a fan sucking any butane and blowin it outside also with the window in the other side of the house pushing air into the house causing a nice cross breeze.

So i feel like at worst i woulda started a small amount of the shit in the pan on fire and at max some singed eyebrows.

But a single can run with the pyrex already sitting in boiling water was pretty safe. By the time the butane came out and hit the pyrex it almost instantly evaporated slowly and steadily as the fan extracted it from the house.

I do not in anyway recommend this at all!!!

Could you use dry ice in a cooler outside for the dewax.

Or could you just put the containers in large ziplocks in freezer to keep fumes contained.
so the compressor cant arc n blow the door off

Yeah when i do it now i dewax with dry ice in a cooler. Really easy but dont let the dry ice touch the glass directly. I usually put dry ice down then a baking pan flipped upside down so theres a gap between them or sometimes just 2 pans thick. Dont wanna freeze it too fast and trap some good shit in there.

If youre doing a single solvent dewax you need a buchner funnel so you dont get any butane/waxes evaporating/warming up while youre filtering.

Itd help with iso/ethanol dewaxing as well to keep any of the frozen waxes from redissolving back into yo shit but not as necessary as with butane.

Hook that up to a hose/sink aspirator and youre good to go.

Been lookin up some "scientific hotplates" thatre really sensitive and stay dialed into a perfect temp so you can set em on 100 even and slow purge before any vac'ing.
