So I don't think my exhaust fan is able to work as well as it should from all the bends it has in it. My room is around 80-85f . And summer is not here yet. Plus I'm u changing out my 400 hps to 600 so help me please....

33x37 grow room
27 inch x 6 cool tube
4 inch can-fan
Can-fan 33
4 inch duct muffler
Exhaust out a 4 inch dryer vent
6 to 4 inch reducer

The fan, filter, and muffler fit inside the 6 inch ducting

Seems like the heat would be staying very low in that cab because the filter is so high and the light is so low. Im kinda creepy so id put a box fan on its side above the light, suspended by sungrips at all four corners, pulling air up and away from the light like a giant booster.

Or run the filter vertical in the back top corner and shorten the ducting up. That would take care of the bends.

And the temps stay low for now. But like I said 85f and it's not summer yet...it might get crazy
ok that ducting has lost alot of power .........the bends and all the slack in the lines act as air breaks

to keep the temps cool u really should rework the design and used insulted ducting after the cool tube (keep the heat from bleeding back into the air)
as for the elbow and turns look into getting some metal joints (they will be smoother and lose less power ) when u connect lines stretch it all out and any parts that have heat use insulted ducting to keep bleed back as low as u can....it will help with ac bill

U thought of using another fAn to cool ur bulb? So you can remove the radiant heat from the bulb and leave ur exhaust system to deal with ambient temp and humidity. Just a thought.

It doesn't need to be very powerful I use a generic 6" centrifugAl fan to cool 2 600s with all manner of bends lol

ok @black jesus
1 what is that bulb....400 600 1000w
2 how far is it off the plants.....space between to top of the plant and bottom of the light
3 why is the cool tube not on rope rachet hangers
4 how big is the airea with the light in it ?x?x?
It's a 400 soon to be 600
The tube is very close maybe 5 inch away
Never spent the money to get the hanger. I need to pick up some chain...

The room is 37x33 inches... The cool tube is 27 inches

I liked the way it looked in the closet before. The way I moved now is crap...but it did get rid of 3 hard bends

u are killing the plants that is way to close ........that close u have no room to grow up

those are the hangers ........just get a eyebolt into stud

u should have 2 90 degree bends carbon filter to the cooltube ......then ducting to fan then ducting to ejection point

The chart is the same thing. I said 5 inch it shows 6 same thing. I just something rough. The plant are staying at 80-85... Temps are measured at the top.... Ad with a cool tube if I keep it cool can't the plant touch the glass

no ........the plant will bleach ........with white and then will not use the light anymore

u never want to let them get that close .........u need room for the plant to grow up each day (some days i swear they grow 2/3 inches in 24 hours)

in about 5 days u should notice in the growth

the heat stress being so close to the light will leave and the plant will do some more branching out (might be in next looks like flowering now)

your muffler is at the wrong spot

u want it at the ejection point to slow the air coming out removiing the sound of a high speed fan dumping it

if u can try this

carbon filter ducting cooltube ducting fan ducting muffler ejection point
