I want to run a second 1000w hps and a 14k btus ac all in the same room(currently only have one and small ac) what do I need to do to be able to run a second light someone told me I could just buy a new breaker and swap em out like changing a fuse or something, I've also seen ppl talking about "titan controls" I really don't know what to do and it's not like I can call an electrician! I know im already at max bc if i plug a small heater in i trip the breaker! Any help would be nice!

You have plenty of room in your panel. Have someone QUALIFIED, pull a dedicated circuit into the room. DO NOT put a larger breaker on a wire that it is not rated for, That's the shit that leaves the Firemen Shaken their heads. Running an extention cord does nothing for the under sized receptical your pulling from.

Unfortunately that's how I'm already doing it to push the 1k hps, carbon scrubber with 10in fan, ac unit, and another fan lol. My house is weird weird my TV and half of the flower room are on the same breaker... ya I know crazy!

When i was a dumb kid and needed some wiring, I bought a eletrical code book, I read that till it made sence then i did the job almost to code, no idiots chimed in..good luck budz.. if your running a line 10g 3 wire broken down in a sub panel in your room will get you enough to run a few 1k's and another 110 circut, a local electrical code book should tell you how to do it for your area to spec.

Is that box all 120V? Looks like a bunch of 120 dual single pole and a few 240 double poles.

I'm NOT an electrician but wont let that stop me from burning your house down with a suggestion.

The breaker that the grow room is on, switch off. Then locate the closet powerpoint to the grow room that still works. This is a different circuit and run a QUALITY high amp extension cord to the grow area from there.
I think I'm going to try this first before messing with anything if I can evenly split all the power I'm using through the house I may be able to spit it and still make them all work, I'm going to buy a bunch of small wall lights and play with the breakers to find out what plugs are on what breakers and go from there!

I would also get a kill-a-watt meter. Most libraries have them to borrow.
See how many amps your using. Maybe use your dryer plug if your lights can take it? Lots of light ballasts can use both 110 and 220.

you don't need to buy anything..just use whatever you have that you plug in...radio, drill, kettle, whatever. Your only trying to find what powerpoint is active after shutting off the other circuit.

Thanks for the help guys I'm going to play with it tomorrow and see if I can use one breaker for each light aND maybe play around to make everything else work.

Can anyone tell me how many amps my breakers is or if there different sizes that would be a lot of help!

I would imagine amps yes. and for each circuit the breaker serves.
OK well I found out a 1k hps takes 12 amps if I could hook both 1k hps on a single 30 I would have 4 left over (bc they say u should only use 40%) then I could duck tape closed all other outlets on that same breaker. And that should solve my problems! Theoretically that's correct right?
