hey guys.
Ive been browsing this forums for a while now so decided to make an account.
as i type this I have an electrician
wiring up my set up in my roof.
Im kinda restricted on space. highest point being around 1.4m
so looking at doing a SoG grow. been looking at a few set up people have but they are outdated.
just wondering what would the best way to go about it.
can maybe get a max 10-12 sq meters growing space.
Im not new to taking clones or growing inside but new to taking mass amounts of clones and growing SoG
Things I'd like to know is
whats a good ratio of mother plants to clones for that space
how many tents
what would be best strain
and best lights to have in the number of tents
I will have access to 30 amps of power. @ 240V

thank you in advance

if your head room is limited
- you may not find any tents, that fit in that space.
I recommend the interior finishing with white, coated chipboards.
think about to insulate the roof against summer heat and winter cold, if its not done yet.

to light up such a limited space
- use wide spreading, flat led boards to get as close as posible to your plants and your ceiling
or even think about a DIY watercooled led system with the same characteristics.

aluminium sqare tubes in combination with a heatexchanger(200L / 1000W lamp power)
that makes a lot of sense
- in summer when your roof get hot
- in winter you could bring back the produced heat during the night
as your lamp is a radiator aswell.

split up your room into 60% bloom and 40% veg.
make shure a 100% seperation of light and dark during night.

30A sounds a lot and sufficient - but make shure to switch on seperated strings of lamps
in the morning - as many drivers have a very high in-rush current .

i wouldn`t exceed 4000W lamp power / 10sqm and use the average daily heat amount
of ~45KWh to prepare ~800L of hot service water or even heat the building in winter times.

watercooled led lamps with a smart heat management can be a solution to climate change...
if we learn that a system like this(4000W) only need ~100sqm of pv-panels to produce the green energy for eg. 10 persons living in a 400sqm building/house/appartment.

i do this in a smaller scale with 2pers. living in a 75sqm appartment. `
(that`s why i recommend *****)(:

we need ~80L of hot water/day - that i can produce with a 350W / 15h watercooled led lamp
when it gets cold i start a second lamp to have additional heating energy for the flat.
before christmas i start a third grow to complete my heating needs.
with an average of 700W lamp power / day i can cover the calories, that we 2 need during the year.

you see a watercooled 300W led lamp in a grow room with only 92cm headroom.
chosing a strain that give you smaller and maybe denser plants will always have more
indica genetic
and ~2 months of veg + 2 months of bloom should be the best to receive 100%
and celebrate 6 x thankxgiving day
