Need help with trim run BHO

I have made bho for 3 or 4 years pretty regularly and I can get any texture I want but I've always used nugget and never trim but I came into ALOTTT of trim and I've tried to make shatter but it stays pliable and sticky and ive tried to get was or honeycomb but it looks like wet gooey wax. Any one help? Using a 5cfm 2 stage robinair vac pump

The top and bottom are the trim runs and the middle is the nug run from some viking

How old is the trim?

The guy i get it from said this 1lb of trim was fairly fresh like 2 months old compared the stuff that made the shatter on top that was probaly 1 year old

I also switched from puretane. To ultra pure plus the puretane just didnt have the quality of the ultra pure and the. Store i get puretane is overpriced

thats the 1st batch it was sticky to the touch but would snap of you went quick enough withthe dabber

Thats the wax after about 28 hrs in the vac and about 12 hpurs vac with no heat

Could it be the butane im using would a different brand give different results before i order another case

My trim runs do the same thing.. I think it has to do with more lipids and waxes being extracted...
And yes different brands of butane give different results..

Ibwas thinking about throwing the tubes and tane in the freezer for a while and lately iv had mass amounts of ice in my dish for some unknown reason and looking for a super cheap mini closed loop

I always freeze everything overnight.. If you're getting ice your material may have too much moisture...
A closed loop would really help getting consistent results.. Good info!

Thats whats weird the trim is superrr dryy and ya i deff want a closed loop but dont wanna pay 1000 for a small mini closed loop anybody selling a used 1?

If they made a cheap one, I would have it.. lol. I think relative humidity has a lot to do with the final product..
Idk a lot of variables involved.. Need lab conditions and a Co2 extractor...
