You are mis-informed. Or I should say, Not correctly informed yet.

Someone will inform you.

That someone... Wont be me right now.

And youre not really supposed to judge by trich color. But the
people that do use that method, You want half and half or more amber.
more amber tends to be more couchlock, white/clear more like let it
go a couple more weeks.

Oh... What lights are you using?

well im using cfls lol i know but trust me it works like you would not belive anyways that is what im using how about the seccond part of the question???? if you dont judge them like that then how do u? please anything you can tell me i will be very thankfull for all info thanks bro!!!

You will always see some clear trichs even at the end. You need to examine trichs from several places on the plant and take an average. Forget the cloudy and clear, just get a read on how many amber on average from location to location. Don't harvest with less than 25% amber, 50 is better.

yes, new growth will always be, ta-da, new. so clear triches and white hairs.

go by the majority -- or the earlier buds.

FDD ( Harvest time....... a tutorial.) and SpruceZues (Zeus's Take on Harvesting.) each have great tutorials for harvest and cure. This might be of some value to you.

But first and foremost .... congrats on having the patience to keep her going .... and wait till the end. Kudos. You are among few that will/have don/done that. Excellent work. Would you mind throwing up a pic or two? thanks!! and Walk on!!~~~~~~

You can probably chop now If they have been flowering for that long. Some sativas take forever to turn amber, I've heard some don't ever get more than 15-20% amber nomatter how long you wait. What strain is it?

yeah i didn't say it was a fact. I should have re-phrased it. Trich color does effect the type of high tho. If he wants more of a heady high as opposed to the body type- he can chop now if there is some amber right?

Just asking

thats what ive heard oasis -- triche color lends toward head vs. body high. just as long as the majority is not clear -- all cloudy, some amber; good to cut.

yes the "stage" of maturity affects the type of lift you are going to experience. Early, the heady and racy energetic high and follows as a continuum to a very body couch lock at later maturities. I am sure individual strains have peculiarities but ... I do believe the general rule pervades. Personal preferences can develop where experiences come with different strains and growing methods. And people harvesting at different times to try out and see the differences .... it has also been said that taste is highly influenced into later maturity as well ...... better later? my own experience has been limited but I like a little amber mostly cloudy. Walk on!!~~~~ :weed:
