need help with bubbleponics

Hello all
Its been a while since i posted here and a lot have changed, my setup now is 4x600w aircool pro in 2.4x2.4m tent, all running at 24c night time and 26-27c in the day-humidity is around 50%. got some new seeds sensi star, northen light, delirium, big bud,blz bud, exodus cheese.

Now i have a new 30x10L pot dwc system that i changed to bubbleponics with the healia 60l pump and 30 stones (now i know it was a mistake to take 30 pots in that space but thats how much young i had at the time, next time ill go 16x20-25L in that space.) I was feeding my ladies from the start with canna veg, hygrozyme, liquid silicone, hesi vit, bcuzz roots. starting from low ppm 500 going only to 860ppm and ph 5.8 at the end of veg when i added hammer to slow the vertical growth.

At the moment im in the 3rd week of flowering and i am using a lot more nutes but in small quantities - canna flo, bcuzz roots, hygrozyme ,hesi vit, canna booster
bloombastic, massive bloom ,liquid silicone, once aded bud start and a bit of rox because there is less space to go up every day-it all adds up to 850-880ppm and ph 5,8.

Got perfect plants all big white root balls and green leaves with no spots like i had in soil, they are the best plants i ever had!!!!!:leaf::leaf::leaf::leaf::leaf:

The only problem i am experiencing is my ph dropping down to 5.6-5.5 in a day in the 10L buckets that i leave full for most part of the day and drain for only couple hours just to mix all the nutes and clean them with my ozonizer on the way back to my 220l tank. I have been adding 20L of 24h standing fresh water no nutes and it goes back to 5.8 just to drop the next day to 5.6.

Any helping advice is welcome, tell me what u think is ok and what would u change on my place. thanx and happy new year all :leaf:

If your plants are perfect, then there is no problem, but I appreciate you being cautious. pH will drift normally, but it's usually a rebound back in the direction you corrected it. It depends on the water that you are starting with. A change of .5 point a day is common. It sounds like your daily top-off corrects it.

Topping with plain water is normal reservoir maintenance. Plants will use much more water than nutrients. If you are adding nutes daily, you are wasting nutrients. The general rule is to mix your reservoir, and then top-off with plain water until you've added back the reservoir total amount, then change the res.

You are keeping your TDS below 1000, and that's great, but you are using a lot of additives, some probably unnecessary. Refer to Canna's feeding chart for additives that they suggest.

Have a great harvest :bigjoint:

Thanx for the reply mate , the water i use is just tab at around 7ph but ppm i think is quite high around 300 in clean water??
I always try to top up with some food not just plain water because the ppm is dropping quickly - my girls are huge mate so they eat a lot , but i heard that the ph should be rising when the food i being used up by plants??
Any way i think i adjusted the ph too quickly after doing the mix, and overdone with the ph down maybe(AT THE TIME 5.8) and its dropping after 2-3 days of mixing.
Im already doing a fresh batch but tell me how long should i be waiting for the nutes to mix before adjusting the ph?? and how high should i go with the ppm??

big thanx for the answer and a happy new year to you mate

pH dropping is a new one on me.

ppms

veg: 200-400- max ~ 650

flower: 600- max ~ 800

I compensate for lower concentrations with more feedings per day. I feed every hour during lights on,
but I use lava rock which drains fast

If you add nutrients, the Phosphorous will cause pH to drop, because it's in the form of phosphoric acid. Stop adding nutrients between res changes and your pH will drift normally. Don't worry if ppms fall to half of original, there are still plenty of nutes to feed your plants.

The more foliage there is, the more water will be used, and the more fresh air will be required.

the thing is i did add nutes with water every couple days in veg and no ph problems or any other, but now i made first time fresh flo mix and the ph started dropping like crazy. i add water no nutes and it works for a day only.

thank you guys it seems to be ok for now, i just started fresh from ph 6.3-6.4 and it goes down to 5.8-5.9 in couple of days by itself ,after that ill add around 20L of 30% solution every couple of days.
I cant wait for the harvest day, 6 new strains:weed: and some are really huge bitches, and i got some kalashnikova:weed: (ak-47 and ww) coming from a mate so thats good to.
Will let u know how they smoke for sure. :weed:peace people:leaf:

Hello I see that use HESI but why use 2 preparation with PK? hesi 13/14 bloomastic [atama] 20/20 do not you think that one is enough?

yes i use hesi but not 13/14 love but super vit -its for improved plant metabolism and overall health , a concentrated mix of 15 vitamins and 10 amino acids. You'll see improved plant growth, stronger flowering and fruiting, plus an increase in disease resistance.
