This is my first hydro grow and I'm having an issue

I have some light green leaves and also a few leaves that look like this ...

I'm on week 2 of flower

PH: 5.9
PPM: 1450 (which is what I'm running all the way to harvest)

I'm wondering what is causing this issue and how I could correct it?

Please HELP

Thanks Guys!

Check your water supply. What is your starting ppm.?before nutes go in.Water is the most important factor when growing.

Could be wrong but it looks like the beginning of the show of nute burn which means they have been running too hot for about a week or so. When did you bump up their PPMs and by how much? Are you on a x500 or x700 scale for the ppm? It looks like burn because it is affecting the edges and tips of your lower fan leaves. Check to see if the tips of those yellowing leaves are getting crispy. If you see that, flush with ph'd water for a few days, then add some friendly compost tea to the mix for another few days. After that put them back on half strength solution until they are hungry for nutes again. Also, what strain are you growing? Not sure if that purple stem is genetic....if it's not a purple strain you are growing I'd highly suspect a phosphorus deficiency

Oh, didn't notice that...lol what's the point of asking if you don't want advice? Oh well. Always fun to solve a problem I guess.

THIS GUY, is asking for advice @ Kushlatte thanks for your positive feedback the strain is Cantaloupe Kush ( Chocoloupe X OG Kush ).. More then likely they are burned could if I were to flush could I hand flush via the top of the pots with PH'd water? ( I'm using Rockwol in 5x5" hydrofarm pots ) I added some Bloom Booster at 1/2 Strength IF it is a phosphorus def hopefully it will help straighten it out some...

It's burn for sure. Flush now with plain water and in 2 days add the compost tea to help it perk back up I recommend Vermi-T if you can get some from your hydro store. I am growing a hybrid strain that has chocolope in it and I saw many purple stems and leaves like yours and mistook it for a deficiency and burned my poor plants even more. Don't make this mistake, your plant looks strong like she can take this early stage in stride if you act now.

Yeah since your screen is already in just drain as best you can and then pour pH water through the hydroton into the res using a funnel or something like that, the next couple days will look bad because burn doesn't show until about a week later so it's not real time damage you are seeing. So the damage you did today by adding more nutes will be showing during your flush. Just don't panic and check them everyday and change the pH water every 24 hours or so to help the system wash away the nutrient sediment still stuck in there. While you are at the store you may want some clearex to help speed up your flush. After you add the VermiT to your mix you should see the plant perk back up in a day or two and then you can give it a half strength nute mix for the next week. Monitor them closely for ppm and pH during the half strength week to know when they are ready for full strength again. This part will probably take closer to the full week. The good news is that it doesn't look like its spread too much and you can probably save her if you are very sensitive. Also IMO 1450 PPM is much too high, most likely only the heaviest feeding strains would drink this much and even then that'd be running them quite hot. Dial it down to 1100 or so, I think you will be pleased with the results

I'm not using Hydroton I'm using Rockwol, with that being said I should pour the tap water through the top of the pots? and then add compost tea in a few days? How much water should I pour through they are 5x5" hydrofarm pots .. Thanks

I've never used rockwool so I'm not sure, but if that's how you normally pour in your nutes then that should be fine. Fill them up as much as you normally do, think of it as just filling them up with plain water and tea for a week instead of your normal nute water, same concept as always, you're just giving the plant the pure foundation of what it needs, water

I usually flood the table via 27 gallon rez with my nutes (PPM and PH adjusted) -EBB & FLOW- for 5 mins but I think hand flushing with PH'd water should help dilute whatever is in the rockwol cubes (So I hope) I cant get any tea or clearex at the moment as I started a new job and wont have extra money to invest.. So I'm going to hand water and adjust my PPM back down to 1000 and hope they respond I hope this sounds appropriate .. Thank you for your help !
