They look a little heat damaged , how many plants are there they look packed in very tightly
make sure air is always blowing threw them at all times, mold and powdery mildew like those crowded conditions
having too many plants in a space can make the quality suffer if there are too many spindly plants and shading issues
hope it all works out well :)

thanks skunk yeah i got them packed in there i just did a whole bunch of cutting stuff out like u said spindly shit but im hopeing for a good yield i just threw in a 175mh for the side of the table, well see in shooting for 4 pounds

its a good idea to remove some of the lower growth that is weak
and thin out the weaker shoots so the majority of branches left are nice thick ones filling the space
as they flower much new growth will grow from the top anyway which will become bud sites
don't go too crazy thinning out or you will lose yield overall when you add up all that spindly shit those buds do add a fair bit of weight to the overall total
but they are annoying to harvest lol

keep an eye out for drips of water on the leaves give them a shake at the stems when
there are lots of drips on the leaves its a good indication of high humidity in the center of the canopy
with lots of overlapping foliage as long as you keep an eye on it and plenty of fresh air moving through them at all times without them flapping about too much i'm sure you will be good

peace

if it was a little bit of budrot that's pretty normal and quite strain dependent
you should only lose a tiny bit due to bud rot with some strains that make very fat colas its virtually impossible to not find a tiny bit of bud rot
even in the most well maintained rooms

if its PM that is much easier to avoid if you keep things cooler and less crowded

you can measure the humidity of air in the room roughly
its much harder to get an accurate reading of the humidity of the air between 2 colas that are 1 inch apart with a household humidity meter
the overall humidity of the room could be 40-50 but the humidity between folage that is not moving in a fresh stream of air could be much higher
the air you're blowing over them needs to be fresh air you are pulling in from outside the grow space or it will eventually become co2 depleted

plants can grow in pretty harsh conditions with heat and humidity and poor co2 conditions right up until early to mid flower and show little signs of damage
i find MJ plants have very low requirements at this stage,
they practically get to this stage in my back garden without any help from me or any food other than the dirt they are in

they can be healthy at weeks 3-4 of flower with nice small buds and look great, come week 6 they look half dead
rapidly as the plant starts building flowers it requires much more of everything this is when it will turn very quickly if the environment is not right
leaves turn crispy go yellow and die , mold can form etc
i would say you cant really be sure your environment (air/temps/co2) is good until week 5 or so of flower,(with a typical 9 week hybrid) if they are healthy at week 5 they should finish good

peace

1500ppm in veg? Damn, I never go above 800 and 200-250 of that is calmag. I use FloraNova, Floralicious, a root stim, and great white sometimes in veg, but still 800-900max. I use to push them higher but all that did was waste nutes and every once in a while cause lock outs. I keep them under 900 with GH and I never have a problem, just happy healthy plants and a heavier wallet.

Awesome man! Squidbillies rock.

Listen to you plants, they always tell you what their happy with.

When I switched to coco and started feeding everyday it was better to go with a slightly lower ppm. When I was maxing them out I would occasionally run into more problems then benefits. A little burn, and sometimes lock-outs which are never fun. I haven't had a lock out experience in veg since I decided to run slightly lower ppm. Even with run-off, when I stay below 1000ppm I usually have NO problems with the run -off ppm coming out almost exactly the same as what I put in.

This could all be contributed to my lack of experience, but a few 'veterans' have told me they prefer to run lower for these same reasons. It's really been working out for me so I'm happy in the 600-1000ppm. In fact I'm only feeding 550-600ppm @ 5 weeks old from seed.

My mistake this round happened when I switched to RO water. I was gifted a machine, and even though my water was ok to use, I don't like drinking it so I didn't want to give it to my plants-it's very metalic and I SWEAR that flavor comes through in the final product. It's faint, but it's the tap water I'm use to since I was a child so I recognize it. As soon as I switch I fed them ONCE before I went and bought some cal/mag and the next day they were showing some bad deficiencies. Even after I got the cal/mag and started using it I was very unsure of my plants future. I'm glad to report that problem is taken care and my plants are doing good. This is my first grow in 3 years, and my first at this location.

I guess your plants perked back up?

yeah man i slacked off a little when i first start i was just doing hydro like 5 years this same setup and never had any problems but have been doing more and more soil plants so i can have 6 harvest a year and i have been fucking up like i should have had my glass in my hoods and my temps at 76 instead of 81 and my nutez at 1500 where to much for them, all 3 of them things is what got me but there back on track, i just raised my ppm from 1000 to 1250, super siked theres about 130 tops i added another 175mh and added some great white to my rez and soil plants

That is nute burn with a combination of light bleaching/heat stress.

The light bleach likely occurred as a result of the nutrient burn. Once a plant gets nutrient burn it becomes very fragile. (Dehydrated basically)

Drop your nute level to 850-950. Also keep 12-18" of space between hood and canopy per 600w. I use temperature only as my guide for light distance with healthy plants. With no glass or venting 28-32" up with a 1000w puts me perfect at 78-81°
