ive posted to two other forums as well as other sections here and nobody can seem to identify these or help me get rid of them.
They suddenly appeared in the hundreds yesterday. Before then, Ive have never seen them before. Someone mentioned they look like some kind of true bug, which I would agree they do look sinilar to some of the species, but still, no advice on how to get rid of them.
I am on day 35 of flower and am really hoping they dont ruin my garden. So far Im not noticing any damage, mostly just a nuisance, but getting out of control. There are hundreds of them. They are getting stuck to my buds and sugar leafs. Ive been picking them out by the dozens... Ive squished maybe 50+ so far but after a few hours I come back and theres more than there were before.
Please help me!! Im pocking up fly traps and sticky cards today after work and maybe some diatomaceous earth to try out.

I am incorrect in my answer above . some body posted a link . they will suck sap out of the leaf not chew . wash the plants with water asap . and apply neem oil .

Thank you all, they do look pretty similar to those that you guys posted. Sonyou think neem oil would be ok for my plants at this stage in flowering? Im going to assume that I shouldn't apply the oil to the buds, only the leafs?

You could try using DE also, toss some in the back of a fan and poof, it will blow all over your room. It will remove oils and moisture from the bug and kill it through dehydration!

Well if it gets all over my buds its gonna be stuck there. My plants are very frosty and very sticky. I got a little bit of drywall dust in there the other day and it was a pain in the ass to get off. So if this stuff conpletely covered all my plants i think it would be a disaster. In veg i would cover them woth that stuff cause ive heard its pretty awesome but indont want to be smokeing buds with that powder all over it and no way to clean it off

We use an alcohol solution with of 50:50 water to alchohol before entering greenhouses and the indoor rooms, you can try blasting/frying the bugs off your buds with that.

Tha ms for all the ideas man, I alreqdy bought that neem oil so I will go through and pick off and squash as many as I can by hand, then wash the plants, the. Spray the leaves top to bottom, under and on top, hang the fly traps, then Ingot one of those as seen on tv door net things that has magnets and opens in the middle to keep future insects out. Hopefully all of this works :)

None of them are red like those box elder beetles. They are all light tan and the larger ones are a darker brown color. It is definitely some species of these though. I will try to get some clearer and closer photos today.

Got some more close ups. The weird thing is... The oitside of my shed on one wall... Is completely infested with these things too. They still don't appear to be doing any damage to the plants just yet, but I will do the neem oil as soon as I can. Its gonna take a few hours and I can't right now. Hopefully later today I can get in there.
For now, I humg some various fly traps around the room. We'll see if that helps.
