Hey everyone!

I'm on my second grow here, I've got one strain of Paradise seed's Delahaze and two Cannatonics.

Their seeds have been planted the 4th of July, so almost a month now!

They all have been watered the same, and I've transplanted them all the 23rd of July.

I've gave them a small 1/4 strength of nutes from the General Hydroponic's flora serie right after transplanting them as their first nute, and watered them with seaweed extract.

The plants all look very happy and healthy, but my first cannatonic doesn't look as strong as my second cannatonic.

When they started sprouting, the Delahaze was the fastest one, followed by cannatonic 1, and cannatonic 2 germinated a little time after them. But, with time cannatonic 2 started to explode of new leafs right up the oldest leaves!

Look on this picture, from left to right : Cannatonic 1, Cannatonic 2, Delahaze.

But now the cannatonic 1 doesn't look as happy as Cannatonic 2, the blade leaves are curling upward (I'm not sure if it's normal since the cotyledons are pretty much done?). And lower leave seems to get yellow? Would they need another feed next water? Maybe a foliar feed? But the tips of leaves are a very little yellow, nute burn?

Pics here :

IMG_5361.JPGCannatonic 2 looks very happy

So, more feed? Plain water? Foliar feed? Or is it just fine?

kind of hard to tell from the colors in the photos. some leaves are dark green, then others are light green. I guess if the issue is the light green leaves and there isn't much fert in that soil, then I'd say you might consider another dose of fert. you also need to let the soil dry out between waterings. this is why it can be a good idea to use a soil that has fert to it already, so there is no guesswork on how much to fert or when. some strains these days are showing themselves to be kind of fert sensitive when they are in pre-ferted soils. I know of a grow in foxfarm soil, the plants are in flower but the grower hasn't given any fert yet. the plants look great. found out if there's any fert in the soil and consider another dose if the leaves look like a generalizing light green to yellow.

Hi Orros,

Polishpollack makes a good point about the sensitivity of cannabis to fertilizers. One thing I'll add is growing from seed is a different beast. You can't apply blanket treatments to a batch of seedlings(even within the same strain) like you can when you're working with clones from the same phenotype. You have to really treat each plant individually. So for example, you have a sack of beans, all the same strain, you may have a seedling that basks in a rich nutrient bath, give that same treatment to one of her kin, her genetic siblings, and it fries to beat hell.

As it pertains to fertilizing, you want to keep a healthy leaf color, not dark dark green, but not lime green either. Everything I'm talking about is stuff you only learn hands on doing it. Takes a bit of time. I fried many plants before I got it right.

It's your 2nd time, KISS, seems like your trying to hard , remember it is a weed literally
On my first go I was growing regular seeds from jamaica, turn out they were both males.

They guy at the store told me there's maybe 2 weeks of nute in it so not alot I guess. It is mostly the Delahaze that have a darker green than the other, but the oldest cannatonic isn't as dark green in overall and lower leaves are getting yellow.. and look at the blade leave!
I will eventually get some foxfarm but can only ship it by internet and it's getting a bit expansive!
Thanks for your answer as always Pollack :)

Alright I got you. Yeah when we germinated the seeds we've put the 3 togheter. Delahaze sprouted fast like crazy, then when cannatonic 1 was ready to be planted, cannatonic 2 needed another day before being plant.
And their soil pretty much dies at the same time so I guessed I could just water them the same!
Thanks for the reply Punk :)
