Okay I need some help everyone. the strain is red poison from sweet seeds she's around 6 weeks old started flowering two weeks ago. I use led lights and fox farm soil mixed with happy frog. My water is around 6.5 ph I always make sure it's not lower than 6. I use the fox farm nutrient trio for nutes. I can't tell if this is a deficiency or a toxicity it just showed up about two days ago I have these black/brown spots on the leaves. Any help is appreciated

I thought it might have been a phosphorous deficiency but tiger bloom has a high phosphorous content. My stems are dark purple near the affected leaves though.

Do you have a few pictures of the whole plants please?

Do you know what is in you tap water, the EC of it??

I do not know the EC or the PPM of my water I need to get a meter. If the problem was my water though wouldn't it have shown up before now. I havnt had a problem up untill a couple of days ago and this is week 6

Yo,

Toxic solids could take that long to build up if you have high EC tap water. We could be witnessing some sort of lock out.
What color your run off please and the PH of it?

I checked the runoff and it was really low unless I checked it wrong. When I watered I got the first bit of water that started flowing out. Now the water going in was at 6.5 but when I checked the runoff it was around 4.5-5 range so extremely low. The color of the run off was clear though.

Yeah I water untill runoff everytime but I don't check the runoff that often. I don't know why it would be so low though when my water is never that low.
thats the ocean forest soil that does that. I believe you have nute lockout from ph being to low. try going in at a higher ph,closer to 6.8

do you let your water stand a day before watering ,also when mixing your nutes let that stand for an hr or so before feeding .i used to EC & PH runoffs etc. ,i have the bluelab truncheon & bluelab pen ,i don't EC or PH now though .its all in my head & i do very well

No I use to let it sit for a day when I used city water I thought that just helped with the chlorine so when I moved to a place with well water I stopped letting it sit out for a day. I'll try to do that now and let the nutes sit also. And I never have tested EC. I never used to even test my water or runoff and have never had a problem untill now so it could be my water.

It's starting to progress and fast so I just was trying to figure it out before it gets worse and also so I can prevent it later on. I give her a gallon at a time and after about 1 and a half days she's dry again so pretty much a gallon every two days

Yeah but by checking run off, we'v e discovered possible lock out . . . . .

I checked the runoff and it was really low unless I checked it wrong. When I watered I got the first bit of water that started flowing out. Now the water going in was at 6.5 but when I checked the runoff it was around 4.5-5 range so extremely low. The color of the run off was clear though.

So if there are problems, testing run off, can give you an idea . . . .no??

Ba Booom!!!! You said it ;)

I never test run off, it just tells you what the water that ran thru your soil picking up all kinds of stuff is, not what your soil is.

here is a homemade way to test your soil
