i am OK to pay for them signing my paperwork. we went through a lot of Dr's...2 years worth. the fact he charges for this pisses me off but what can i do? report him? then what do i do? i continue my plight to find a dr who will sign.
if i get a form for ICBC or a form for insurance, i have to pay so I don't see it as much different. i heard that Dr's can't charge for HC paperwork but then i go back to the same argument-if i report him, who do i go to then?
i feel i am better to pay their price so I don't have to pay a BM dealer for meds...cheaper too. if they charge $275 + taxes so for ease of math call it $300. i need a pound a month so paying $300 for a year worth of medicine is worth it.

But it's ok for doctors to screw over patients?
good point.
the crappy thing is they can get away with it. until we get to do it ourselves, they are the gatekeepers and have the power.
just plain wrong! we should be able to have some control over what we put into our bodies.
i remember trying to talk to a pain Dr about it. he didn't agree with smoking anything and said no. when i tried to broach edibles, he got mad and wouldn't talk about it. yet he'd increase methadone or oxy anytime he was asked.

find another doc!
its your view he is screwing you,not all drs are for cannabis use,and not all drs think alike....you think they are just out to get you?a lot are still afraid to sign because of multiple reasons, blatently screwing you isnt one of them

so what is reporting a doctor gonna do?absolutely nothing for you!it will probably just screw over other patients
I don't think so. If there are enough complaints against doctors extorting money to write prescriptions it becomes a national story. Make your complaint to HC, your provincial health minister, Kirk Tousaw and John Conroy. Your doctor doesn't need to know you complained. What is going to happen is a court challenge over accessibility and every complaint filed is one more piece of evidence to support our side. Doctors should be forced to consider cannabis as a safe alternative to treat pain and any number of other conditions...or be relieved of their ability to control how I treat my pain. They should also be made to apply the same rules to all prescription when it comes to access.

That's just it, doctors don't want the job of gatekeeper. They are just as disappointed with the whole mess as we are. They have also been forced into the program.

Itsme.
Yep, and they have to play the hand they've been dealt. Sounds familiar, hmmmmmmm................(patients forced into MMPR) Not do a shit fucking job because they "dont wanna" Too fucking bad, its now part of your job LIKE it or NOT. Sound like a bunch of whiny fucking babies for people making 6 figures a year and have 7 years of fucking university. Pretty simple really.
