I am planning on building a grow room i have my caregivers licsence and five patients i am planning to do it at my buddys home in his basement does any one no if its legal to do this secondly does my buddy have to have his mj licsence so he does not get in trouble. Also the home is in his name. Appreciate good advice from a few different people on what i should do or if its legal this way.

I wanted to get all my patients before i started plus his home is a good set up place. Now should i tell him to get his caregivers licsence also and five patients if i am growing 72 plants or will i be safe if he has a patient card. Also i will be taking care of the plants he will never touch them.
I would not do it man. Have you ever even grown pot?

I had a big problem with this, got ripped off. Watch out! Keep all invoices, make shure he also has a card,and his own locked facility. You have your 72 in your facility. He has his in a different one. Most importantly sign a lease agreement.If its one dollar a month, big deal. If your new at it try growing a tomato before attempting cannabis. Five patients? Hope you don't have a job, if you do you might quit. This is a life changing moment. Don't make the same mistake i did.

make sure you are paying rent and have mail delivered to this location. he can make a reciept for you every month and just get some mail delivered there. it is a pain in the ass but your ass would be covered

I actually did ask my lawyer this and he said that you can grow anywhere you want as long as it abides by a secure and locked facility that your friend doesnt have keys for. I know for just being a patient, it doesnt ask where your plants are, I'm not sure about when your a caregiver. It just asks for your mailing address. It doesnt even ask where you live.
