Need advice closet grow

What's going on stoners. I've been growing outdoors for decades have a good closet to use for a indoor grow over the winter months and possibly year round depending on the turn out. Looking for the cheapest way to get quality buds. Pictures are attached of the space we aren't talking about a lot of room. Totally width is 5ft4in. And height from top of shelf to ceiling is exactly 2ft. I could use the entire closet but I'd like to keep my clothes in there regardless of odour once flowering.

I've never done a full grow only started germs out early spring but my basic idea was tinfoil the sum bitch, get outlet bars with cfl's plugged into them. Say 4 outlet bars spread out evenly and 4 cfl's on each bar. 2 fans in each corner or maybe just 1. 5-8 plants in 1-2 gallon pots. Maybe a few timers.... That's my idea, what's yours!?

let me know what you guys think with the space I have, I guess I would need an auto flower strain or start flowering early. l
Like I said I'm new to indoor growing beg my pard. Thanks for reading

happy smoking :)

Gonna be tight. If you veg to 5 nodes on an indica and top it ... might work but gonna have to be a short heffer. maybe even toss a scrog up there to spread her out.

Go for it. Like pl 314 said an indication Dom. Topped and scrogged. I've let plants stay rootbound through flower to stay dwarfed. If your not worried about quantity, you could have slot of fun doing a micro-grow and yield some potent flowers. Keep us updated. I'm post a pic of my dwarf project I'm doing now. It's topped and ready for flower at 4" baby!! It's a cloned top from an experiment, it would live your closet:)

thanks man, topped and Scrooged? Please explain. I'll be getting everything ready in the next couple of days going to germ tonight. Light cycle once sprouted should be 12/12 am I right? And tips on the space I have would be helpful. Maybe get to about a foot and flower with the rest of the space it would have left

Fill the top with light, flower straight from clone.

Top your mother branches a week before you take clones. Use these tops as your clones to start with 2 tops. You can bend each top horizontally and keep things low. Your gonna have to flower straight from clone, and your clones will have to be less than 3-4".

Start with 2 or 3, while you clone another batch. Once stretch is over throw the babes in the excess light to start flowering. If you didnt fill the space with 2-3, adjust your next run accordingly.

A mini rotation would work best for u if you could keep a mother

so I can't just germ the seeds that I have like I would with my outdoor grows. I don't have time to grow a mother plant fully and clone it. I need to start Germing now and be in the pots with lights within a week. I'm not worried about males my seeds are feminized, I understand that cloning reduces overall grow time but I have no room for a mother plant to be growing my space is only 5ft by 2ft

Sure u can go from seed, but even with the same strain your looking at varying flower times veg the plants to 4 nodes, then top all the way at the base leaving 2 mains. Let it recover from shock and start to flower. As soon as stretch starts u can literally break the branches by pinching then bending (until cracks) so your 2 mains are laying on the shelf. Keep doing this as needed for vertical room as the process goes. Id pop 2 seeds every 2 weeks and see how that fills things

Ps. If you baby things when breaking the stems the plant will use energy to fix the break and the branch will start to rise back toward the light. Give it a solid crack. Needs to stay attached but actually be broken.
