Nearing end of grow , a lot of amber tricombs but buds not fat enough

Alright so this is my first grow and no doubt had a fair few problems along the way but it's almost the finish line or it's past the finish line I'm not sure.

For the last 10 days or so my buds have started to put on weight and get fatter, I'm not sure of the strain but from recent posts on this site people told me it's likely sativa doninant strain.

My problem is I'm not sure if it's ready , I've had a look at the buds with a loupe yesterday with natural light and led light on the loupe and there's a lot of cloudy tricombs and still some clear ones but there's also a fair few amber ones and some that look cloudy turning slightly amber. I can't go by the pistils browning because I burnt them leaving the plant wet in the sun a couple weeks ago which fucked it up a bit . I didn't top or train my plant and the main cola is pretty dense , the rest of the main buds are getting fatter but not really dense but the branches are starting to bend a bit. My question is , is it time to harvest or do I wait for it to fatten up a week or 2 more , I want to harvest with about 30% amber and looks like thats where it's at now . Is it possible after problems ran into during the grow or strain of the plant that the buds won't get dense and instead stay fluffy buds ? Here are some pics of the plant , I didn't take any pics of the tricombs though, thanks in advance for any help ! IMG_4274.JPG

No, not Sativa dominant. That is a pure landrace Sativa, and I would love to know where I can find those seeds.

I forgot to mention the stretch ended somewhere around January 20/25 and buds appeared around January 25/feb 1st and it's now march 23rd so that makes it roughly 8 weeks give or take a few days since buds appeared on plant I'd say

It’s got probably 4-8 weeks to go. Maybe even up to 22 weeks altogether. That thing is a beautiful Sativa. They take a long time to mature. You should seriously be proud. I am completely envious of the structure.

They were some feminized seeds a mates mate from work who I no longer have contact with grew and he planted 6 and they all grew so he gave some plants away while still small in veg and I grew it out , it did stress herm a bit 4/5 weeks ago and unfortunately I missed all the nanners and got some seeded buds in areas at the bottom which my guess will all be female , if ur in Aus I'd be happy to give u some

Sadly, I am in the US. I dunno what those are, but they are 100% Sativa.

Trichs on the bud Calyxs , the sugar leaves trichs are pretty much half amber, I have handled them a little bit so could be amber from damaged but there's cloudy ones turning amber

Theoretically, it sounds mature. Realistically, I am sure of two things: that is definitely pure Sativa, and pure Sativas take no less than 12-13 weeks. Even then, more like 16-18 weeks, but up to 22 weeks or so.

IMG_3965.JPG I really do want to wait because I want the buds to fatten bud I don't want the thc to deteriorate from waiting to long , is this normal for sativas and will a lot more new trichs form later on as it fattens ? Here's a pic from January 7 , was taken 2 weeks after I got it from the guy IMG_3965.JPG

I believe it was at the early beginnings of bloom. Maybe week 2, since the pistils are just starting to appear. It’s a little blurry, though. Grown outdoors?

Edit: I didn’t see the two weeks part because I’m ripped as fuck. I was dead-on.

That one looks somewhat Sativa-dominant, not pure landrace, like a totally different plant. Where are those thin-ass leaves? That is probably ready to harvest.

Those appear closer to the first one, but even the bud structure is deeply Sativa. The way it’s flowering is like a tree or branched reed or bamboo. Indicas bud much tighter and bushier. If it’s a hybrid, it’s 90/10 Sativa dominant. No less.

I would kill to grab whatever the hell that thing is! Haha! I’m not dealing with customs, though.

This was 4th of march when it started to lose a lot of leaves also a few days before I fucked the pistils up and they had only just started to turn brown at this time . So what do you think I do from here as it's my first grow and I have no idea to chop or not haha

It may be ready. You should reveg a cut or keep seeds. What you have there is special. Those leaves are probably just her finishing up. It cannibalizes the nutrients from its leaves for the bud. If January 7th was 2 weeks, we’re at like, week 16 right now. That thing is ready. It probably is actually a pure landrace Sativa, honestly. I don’t think it’s been artificially selected.

Im living at a rental and will be moving out in a couple months so I can't reveg a branch but luckily I will have the seeds for another time. I'm going away for a few days in a weeks time , should I harvest it in 6 days or will it be too late then , It's only had mollases and phd water this last week as I suspected it might be 2 weeks from harvest and will fatten by then so been on a flush.
