I just got hold of a hell of a lot of reg seeds in great condition from a friend. And just for the fun of it, I want to plant some in a very well hidden area in my backyard.

So could anyone give me tips as to what soil to use, what kind of fertilizer etc. And also if the weather is bad will it abort the whole process?

I have only had success once growing inside to pardon my lack of knowledge.

Get some soil thats as normal as possible. Even out of a compost. Make sure it has no nutes in it. Miracle grow usually has nutes in it. Any soil will work as long as you follow that rule.

Weather shouldnt ruin the grow. If you think about it its only natural for plants to grow outdoors in the weather correct? I reccomend starting them off inside in the window or under a light just in case. Also if you live near woods and there are deer around the area that you know of....spread some human hair or something that smells human like around them or they will end up like my buddies did this year topped off by your furry friend Bambi!

yeah spiders will keep your plant clean. i have a few living on mine in my back yard. nothing else seems to be there.

ummmm you could also try getting a light insecticide from your local grow shop. make sure you dont use it during the flower stage. i also heard a light dishsoap and water mix works for bugs. otherwise like buddy says, just pull them off and keep an eye on it. if you see slugs, like i get sometimes then put some broken eggshells in the top of the dirt so wen the crawl across they cut themselves open and go away hahahaha,
