Anyone in n/e ohio maybe interested in taking a trip to hit up a couple dispensaries in Michigan ?

I'll be flat honest , I drive very little and my ride is a piece of crap that I'll take if no one is interested , but I won't risk stranding someone else 150 miles away from home with it .

I'm very happy to pay for fuel and such , I'm just wanting to get some holiday cheer and don't have a supplier .

Sober driving is a must .

I am in Columbiana county , just hit me up if your interested

Just get a medical card, takes about 10 mins online and will be a lot less $ then you'd spend on time and fuel..

I'm obviously a little late on this, but I just made a trip to Morenci, and I do recommend it if it isn't too far for you. Definitely too far for me to go regularly (from Cleveland/Akron), but I like the dispensaries there and have been to four of the five. They're all a literal stone's throw apart, and at least some of them have first timer specials, as well as daily deals, bundle discounts, etc.

Ascend has been my favorite so far. It's a nice, clean, bright store with friendly people, very professional. They always seem to have some good deals, like a lot of REALLY nice eighths for under $12. We picked up some Ozone Reserve for $15/eighth, which run up to 29%. They also have pre-rolls as cheap as $3 for 1g if you buy several, which is nice for some variety.

I also stopped next door at Jade for the first time. I was less impressed there but they have a nice variety, too. They had a couple of Blues Brothers strains so I just had to try one.

We didn't hit up the others this time but I went across the street to Remedii once. That was a less comfortable experience for me becuse the store is small, we had to wait outside for a bit, then in their awkward little waiting room, and the sales area was very dark and the music was very loud. That's all fine but it made it hard to focus on what I was there for. Good prices and nice people though, if less variety then. My only visit was a couple years ago, so that may have changed.

I've also been to Skymint/Three Fifteen. Their facility was nice enough, somewhere between Remedii and Ascend in my book. The Skymint-branded products we tried were a really good value, and their selection of brands was good.

The other dispensary in Morenci is Pinnacle Emporium, which I have not made it to yet but will check out next time I'm in the area. Just from looking at their site, it seems like they have a lot to offer, including some Cookies brand strains and some cheap, high-THC flower.

Now we need Ohio to get its act together! The governor is pushing for the do-nothing jokers in the legislature to approve rec sales at med dispensaries ASAP, which is a logical step, but current prices are absolute garbage, from what I've heard. DeSwine seems to think he can prevent black market sales if they move quickly, meaning he's somehow oblivious to fact that generations of prohibition already created and fostered a robust black market, but that's another story. He seems to be uninformed still, worrying mainly about pesticides and high THC levels, although his odd comments linking fentanyl to cannabis have been debunked. My fear is that Ohio lawmakers will still find multiple ways to fuck this up with over-regulation leading to short supply and astronomical prices, which will encourage us to continue to buy from Michigan or through unregulated channels. We'll see, I guess.

He still carries on about fentanayl in weed, and now his latest quest is trying to get delta 8 and delta 10 banned (for the safety of the children) lol.. I swear Dewine lives under a rock..
