N.C. per plant laws

Hello all, my virgin post here. Before I finally delve into this wonderful world I was wondering if anyone might know what N.C. laws are considering weight per plant? I did look up NC laws and it seems the first tier of punishment falls under 10lbs and under (which is where id like to stay just in case). It doesn't go on to say how much they consider each plant to possibly yield according to them and I have been unable to find such info after searching. Id like to do SOG but if each plant let's say is considered a pound each, then id be better off im guessing with ScrOG. Right??? Thanks for any info

They can only go by how much weight is the actual weight, not a weight that it could be or has the potential to be. So, as long as you're under the 10 pounds total weight of plants then you are good.

Don't they weigh everything? Root balls and all? So would dwc be safer?
