Just get someone to help you.
The issue being that the only person who should know the garden exists are those cultivating. OPSEC yo!

@oldtoker7

Mirrors create 'hotspots' of light that if not diffused correctly, causes problems when trying to manicure your ladies into a perfect canopy.

Mylar is much more reflective, I don't know how and why people are having problems installing it. Having troubles doing a two man job by yourself shouldn't warrant a "zomg too hard". Just get someone to help you. Find some cardboard, then cut 1x1 inch squares, use thumb tacks, have a friend hold it, pull it tight and tada, wrinkle free.

Although white paint has way more pros than cons.

Paint Pros:

Easy to clean the walls once painted.
Cheap
Easy to apply

Mylar pros:
Can remove it
Much more reflective
Good idea let's keep this list going....

Paint Pros:

Easy to clean the walls once painted.
Cheap
Easy to apply
Cheap
water tight and seals surfaces
Easy to re-apply; no real need to remove old layer first

Mylar pros:
Can remove it
Much more reflective

Also, there's stuff called Reflectix, and i've heard good things about it on these types of forums. Apparently not only is it easier to work with, but it also provides insulation.

Bubblewrap with a much too mirror-like quality, I have seen some excellent grows with that material on the walls. It is a radiant barrier, that small amount of air trapped in the bubbles is also a nice thermal break from cold surfaces such as concrete, not much more. Makes a great mat to stick under seedling trays. :) You can put it up with the duct tape and staple method. Also very easily cleaned.

Personally I would stick to flat white if I had reflectix and flat paint to chose from. Seriously, get some flat white paint and have some mildewcide mixed in at the shop. I have a personal preference of choosing the highest quality paint, and putting on three coats, I HATE painting. Purchasing a quality paint will save much time and sweat down the road.
