My plant died.=( help

it died it was about 1 inch tall i had it under a regular 40 watt bulb i switched it to 3 43watt cfl's wich were about 5 or 6 inches away from the top and my plant started getting crispy when i had checked it in the morning so i hired the lights and took 1 out and i came home from school 6hrs later and the little plant was all burnt up wut happened i didnt have a fan or any air circulation so could that be it? help i should put a fan in the box i put like 10 bagseed 2 germ yesterday.

how often did you water it ? how big of a pot was it in ? and by regular bulb you don"t mean incandecent.

you have all those bulbs in a box with no intake or outake? of course you fried them!

the temp probably got into the 110+s, that's why.
get some fans

FIRST OF ALL WHAT KIND OF SET UP DO YOU HAVE? YOU CAN'T JUST GROW DANK NUGS FROM A COUPLE OF CFL LIGHTS, UNLESS THEY ARE HID CFL LIGHTS. IT SOUNDS LIKE THEY DIDN'T GET ENOUGH AIR FLOW OR NOT ENOUGH WATER OR IT GOT TOO HOT IN THERE. SORRY TO BURST YOUR BUBBLE BUT YOU NEED TO STUDY A BIT MORE AND BUY THE RIGHT EQUIPMENT. YOU CAN START BY GETTING A FAN IN THERE AND MONITOR THE TEMPS. HOPE YOU CAN SALVAGE SOMETHING. IF YOU HAVE ANYMORE PROBLEMS LET ME KNOW AND I'LL HELP YOU OUT, I HAVE SO MANY BOOKS I'VE GOT THE ANSWERS YOU NEED! I'M HERE TO HELP. THE TEMPS SHOULD BE BETWEEN 70 AN 80 DEGREES DURING LIGHTS ON

well the box was about 2 ft tall watering was not the prob i know that 4 sure it was overheating i just need to ceep track of the temp inside the box and put a fan inside it.and i used maricle grow 4 the soil i dont know how 2 spell that but thanks peeps now i know thanks a ton.

those light are a cool white spectrum i believe.u should get some of the 100w equiv,daylight spectrum

for sure it was to hott thats why they died u said u had the cfl's 5 inches away, then moved them farther,,ur supposed to keep them between 1 and 2 inches away, and if theyre gettin crispy you need to figure out how to get the air circulating
