Day 8

Finally stretching. Fed slightly yesterday, and today they woke up praying for the first time. Looking better, still some burnt tips and yellow lower leafs.

Also three days ago I trimmed the first two nodes and the lower shoots.

Day 18

I'm accustomed to growing in soil. Actual soil in the ground, and like 500L. So I never really needed any meter, nor even much measures of anything at all.
Well long story short, I just got some ppm/ph meters and the runoff readings were fucking scary. So I flush them all yesterday.

yeah thats getting up there but not as bad as you might think.i bet if you had given a lil more of a flush that number would drop pretty quickly.i just had some plants i checked because i happened to over water some stuff and one plant which i thought looked good was up there at like 3850ppm.but after i seen that number i hit it with a half gallon more and it dropped to around 1500 by the end.few days later im at 800,its an older plant so im just giving water tryin to get it down to 200-300 this next week.
did that plant dry out a few times maybe? either way i wouldnt get too drastic, just lower your feeds and keep an eye on it because imo they dont look bad at all.

The 4k was before flushing. After it ended at ~800.
They are the two in the middle, with the more developed buds, and you can see the difference between those and the one closer to the door, more green and lush, even softer, while those two feel more crunchy.
Also, the one in the middle left has been stunted for like a week. I hope she can recover on time, it was supposed to be fast flower, just 7 weeks.

Day 30

The two sativas in the back and the one in the front are a couple weeks behind the two mainly indicas in the middle, which are glistening and smelling just deliciously.
Today I spent like two hours down there (and it wasn't even watering day), just rubbing my nose around and caressing them o_O

The Critical+ (middle left) didn't want to fatten at all. She is almost ready and its a shame as she smells SO good, but it will yeild almost nothing. The kush next to her is going great tho, and with two more weeks to go.

Day 80-2.jpg

And here the main cola of one of the sativas (the prettiest one). I think this is a 9-10 week strain, so I'm hoping these three freebies can save the run and I can get a not so awful yield after all.

Damn, time flies when you are in the garden, doesn't it? A month already!
I guess at least I wrap this up...

This was a 210W, 4 CXB's 3590 3500K CD @1.4mA (a kit from Timber btw) in a 2.5'x2.5'x7' homemade tent.
Medium: 60% coco, 20% sphagnum, 10% perlite, 10% vermicompost. Feed with Canna.

Here is the dry yield of 3 of the 5 plants:

Critical+2 (57 days): 41g
Critical+2-1.jpg
Critical Kush (61 days): 54g
Critical Kush - Pre harvest.jpg
Jack Herer x Unknown #3 (69 days - photo from a week before): 43g
GF #1 Pre-Harvest-1.jpg

Jack Herer x Unknown #1 was partially harvest today at day 76
GF #2 Harvest-1.jpgGF #2 Harvest-2.jpg

#2 still needs another week

With her twin buds

And the next run is already waiting, at week 4 of veg: Blueberry, Sour Kush, Tangerine Dream, and the forth one was going to be Kosher Kush but the fucker didn't germinate, so it's a freebie Orange Bud

Final results at last. And well, just wow!
From the start I was 'hopefully' expecting 100-150g and I wouldve call that a good first cob grow. Final yield with the remaining two plants (the last one was BIG):

Critical+2 (57 days): 41g
Critical Kush (61 days): 54g
Jack Herer x Unknown #3 (69 days): 43g
Jack Herer x Unknown #1 (76 days): 45g
Jack Herer x Unknown #2 (81 days): 62g

Total: 245g / 210W

I learned everything I know (which isnt much) reading this forum, and watching greengenes and growmau5's videos.

For a 3x3 I would get a hlg-240h-c1400b driver with 5 cree cxb3590 (~250W) if you wanna diy, as that's the only cob and current I have experience with and be sure it makes big hard frosty nugs:

For commercial already built fixtures I can recommend you Timber, good products and service, and they have a 5 cob kit ideal for that area (LINK).
