My own Indica hybrid

Hey all, I'm currently medicating with a hybrid I created about 2 yrs ago. I call it "Midnight Nectar" and It's the result of an Afghani#1 male hitting my best Durga Mata II med strain female. The Afghani increased the potency of the DM while complementing her medicinal qualities as well. Been medicating about 25 yrs. and 1-2 bong hits is all I need of this herb. Lasts several hours, and a little goes a long way. It's a wonderful pain reliever & muscle relaxer, as well as a definite day-ender . :sleep:

That sounds really nice. Can't wait to have my own stash of lovely weed so I don't have to pay for crap off greedy kids. I'm definitely looking to experiment a bit with the medical strains once I get a few more grows under my belt and my equipment upgraded a bit, start getting something a bit different on the go, something that kills the pain and gets me nicely buzzed. Midnight Nectar sounds like exactly what I need lol. How awesome to have your own strain though, something you invented that provides you with just what you need. Sounds like you made yourself a nice smoke :bigjoint:

Thanks a lot @Cannacat 8-). Yeah, looking back it was a worthwhile experiment. Just think of the medical condition you are attempting to alleviate and pick 2 strains you would like as parents to create something original for yourself. I had the Durga-Mata II med- strain from Paradise Seeds and had a few Afghani freebies laying around so I just worked with what I had atm. The results are better than I expected, and satisfy my night-time (bed time) med criteria of a Strong Indica with great medicinal properties. :blsmoke:

i definitely want to try my hand at breeding eventually but I'm still learning to grow so right now I'm keeping my eye out for strains that are a bit different than what I can normally get my hands on when I'm buying weed. I'm definitely putting a good seed order in once I've got this crop down so I can play with some different genetics and see what works best for me.

Thanks a lot my friend ! - i have to say I'm pretty happy with this Indica... Now on to creating a good Sativa hybrid for an active life-style. Ace seeds has what I'm looking for. Nice Sativas along with good breeding potential ;-)
