My Organic Grow- Bio-Canna-

I normally grow in coco and decided to set aside 5 plants and a 1000 to do a little test.

Media: Peat, coco, perlite, vermiculite, minerals, bat guano, rti mycos, ew castings. (more soiless I guess)
Nutes: Bio-vega Bio-FLores Bio-Boost EJ Hi Brix Molasis GO Humic GO Cal-MG hygrozyme Never ph water Always used RO
Feed: 1 day feed 1 day water. Never water through containers
Veg:Vegged in 6" coco-transplant @ 8" to 5gallon grow bag. Veg 2 more weeks then flipped to flower Total Veg about 1 month.
Flower: same feed schedule-roots full in containers by week 3-4 need to water everyday.
Flush: very minimal with just EJ molasis-Water schedule for about 7 days. I truly don't believe in a super long flush. I allow plants to utilize everything I feed them.

Harvest: Flowers came out great more pronounced tastes, overall weight was decresed by about 25-35% which isn't bad, smaller and more plants can up numbers maybe able to compete with hydro. But more plants being closer together leaves room for bugs and mold.

I didn't come across any deficencies throughout my entire grow. Which is nice although I rarely come across any in Coco. Although next time I will go with more of a soil mix than a soiless mix to retain moisture or just add more peat or vermiculite. Towards the middle of the grow watering the plants everyday became just like my coco setup, so it wasn't as easy as I thought it would be. Veg was simple watering only 2 times a week.

I don't think I would switch from Coco, only maybe have a couple plants for the head.

Thanks for reading.

Pretty interesting read man. I had a hell of a time with coco and had a grip of deficiencies so I retransplanted them into organic soil before they died, trying to save them. Which worked well.
