My official grow thread! With pics!

Hey guys! So I wanted to post an update. Today is officialy my day #9. I know my soil looks super dry in the pics.....I was trying to kill off my stupid ass gnats. Which I was winning but now they wont fly on the paper and they keep falling. Need to order new ones..... some of these pics are from about day 6-7. The close up is from day #8.

Plans are for tomorrow.....I got my nutrients in the mail today! Finally!! Fox farm nutes. The GROW BIG, tiger bloom, and fertilizer. Say not to feed in direct light. so will being doing that tomorrow morning at 10am. (18/6 from 4pm-10am. hopefully the morning of day #11 they should be a decent size after the feed.

I started them off on T5's. But quickly ordered this Galaxygrow 300watt LED. I want these northern lights to be amazing....

I also am aware of the stretch that I had. The T5's were to far away and not powerful enough. Once I brought the Light WAY down the front plant exploded with growth. I also soaked the pot to give them a really good water before their first feed.

Just threw 2 more seeds in to germ last night. Also. 1 Dinafem OG kush feminized and 1 strain hunters money maker.

Congrats on your first grow!...A couple of things...what is that medium you have her in? The FF trio is a great nutrient line. However, feeding time and amounts will differ by medium. I use the FFHF soil and the full dirty dozen nute course. I modify their feeding schedule by what I think is best for my gurlz, and what they tell me they need.

Also, not to come off like a snobby RIU old-timer...this thread would be better off posted as a grow journal in that forum.That way you can make multiple posts about your grow and keep details etc. You can invite others to look or keep it private completely. So you can pick and choose who views and what they post on your journal. This stops folks from 'jacking' and trolling your thread. If someone tries to do either...report the post and the moderators are very good about deleting them.

Its actually a plastic storage container lol. But i drilled about 20-30 holes in the bottom to allow drainage

The bushy seedling. That was a stupid question. Hopefully the all start to explode. I fed them today with my foxfire nutes. Not 100% sure if the mixtures are right.....and I dropped my fucking PH meter into the water bowl. So that's broken. Hopefully I can find one locally

stoked! the LED's have made a huge difference.....my bigger seedling has exploded!! Im on my 4th node......day 10. might be able to top it in about 3-4 days

UPDATE! DAY 11!

After first feeding! I think the plants are doing well. the bushier of the seedlings (last pic) is almost at its 4th come and will be getting topped in probably 3-4 days.

DUDE! you gave 3 TABLE SPOONS of FF Grow Big to a seedling?

PLEASE for the love of MOTHER GANJA...do some more studying on cultivation. My plants are in full flowering and have never been given more than 3 teaspoons (The FF recommended amount btw). Sorry to be a smart ass but if your seedlings survive that MASSIVE over-feeding they will not need feeding in 2 days. Also, I would not use cal/mag until an issue showing the need for it shows up.

Possibly safer, my fear @BiGrEd1011 is that we may be watching a time bomb about to go off, now I'm not a soil grower, but it is my understanding that some soils have nutrients in them(enought to last into the veg stage) and that feeding on top of that in early stages can cause a good bit of nute burn, now in a hydro medium it happens fast, but I'm told in soil grows it can take a little longer to see the effects of fertilisers(burn) hopefully this won't be the case in your grow
