my new system

I am working on a new system to accommodate 3-6 plants.
Will be a aero/sump combo using living bacteria for filtration.
starting off I have a allglass aquariums megaflow model 4 sump

I am doubleing up the filtration and will be using carbon filters and a oxy skimmer to fill the water with large amounts of oxygen and co2.
The oxygen will be for living bacteria in the bioballs and biofilters.
For a pump I will be using a 750gph lifegard quietone 3000

I am going to be adding a timer and a timed liquid releaser for nutes
will be using a hydro eth 300 for heating the water

for the clear plexiglass problem I am going to be lining the inside with hushcloth

which will hold the water temp very well.
for lights I am going to be using some very new lights they are made by marineland/tetra for rapid corral growth supposed the bulbs are 15w equal to 100w mh on the lumenscale and I will be using them in these hoods

(simple retrofits)
I will also be running 7 5400k eclipse cfls.
I should have enough light to rock some plants out.
For air I will be using 4 air hockey table fans (very high output low $ for usage) which I will mount to the top blowing the into the system taking the fresh moisture from the oxy skimmer and will blow the co2 up to my plants leaves and keep them nice and cool.
will and 7-12 aerojets along with a umbrella fountian.
so far I have over 1200$ invested in this madness of a project but I just can't sleep without trying. I will have pics once I finish building it I have all but the retrofit hoods.

wont the carbon in the fish filter suck your nutes out?

I know i use it in mine to reduce nitrogen levels for the fish. The bio filter idea sounds really cool though but may be bead very conflicting you dont want algae to grow in there it will eat your nitrogen also let us know though man

it will remove my nutes but I will have a system that will add fresh ones every cycle. The carbon filter I will be using will also prevent harmful bacteria so as the system will cycle it will remove the nutes flush the fresh nute free water through the beneficial and will continue into the next chamber of the sump. The last chamber of the sump is where I am placing the pump and I will have the nute releaser in the second to last chamber so in theory the nutes should not affect the beneficial bacteria and if they do it will be very little. I have also thought up the plan a different route. I will place a large rubbermaid on the top and run hose into the rubbermaid with aerojet tips that will mist and fill up the rubbermaid. I will then connect the 2 sump pipelines into the bottom and when the rubbermaid fills to a certian point it will gravity feed back into the sump and the whole process will start all over. as for algae I will have a skimmer in there that will take all of that out before it hits the 3rd chamber along with a possible biowheel setup. I am also adding a micron system right under the bioballs to keep the very tiny particles from ever reaching the pump.
