I added a few more lights, I have 5 600 hps above the soil. And I have 3 600hps and one 1,000 hps over the hydro. My A/C has ran non-stop for the last month, with me and a few others showering. My power bill was $250 so that's not too bad. My hydro is at day 33 soil is at day 52. And my lighting cycle is at 10/14. The buds are looking dense and stony.

I added in pics of my 120 site easy cloner, busted out with some big roots.

Let me know what you guys think. Im defenitly going with 3 hydro banks, and 15-20 600 watt hps next round. I'm shooting for 7-8 pounds off this harvest between the soil and hydro.

Give me some opionions.... thanks,

Comercial

Looks good man, I have a few questions maybe some tips also. Why did you tape the tubes black? How many inches center to center are your holes? I was using 10, but I think im going to go to 8 inches center to center. How come you didnt use at least 5 tubes? How much lighting are you using?

The plant sites are 12" apart on each tube, but alternating hole patterns between tubes fill in the gaps. I decided on 12 b/c i figured since the tubes are right beside each other with no gaps they might need a little space. Plus this is my first grow, I was watching your 66 on the sidelines and figured this was the way to get a good harvest for a good price.

I noticed that a good amount of light was getting through the pvc and since its j pipe which is pretty thin I light proofed the top with black duct tape. I have a white reflective roll of plastic that i'm going to drape back over the top of the pipes around the plants.

I was going to build it with 6 at first, but decided to start with 4 and next time around do 6. I'm using the botanicare line of nutes right now. There is just 200w of MH light over the top. I'm going to mount my 1000w MH as soon as I have at least 20-25 healthy plants in the pvc system.

I like those caps, do you have the line under the cap or going through the little hole with the stem? Also what is securing your feeder lines in between the holes? It looks like tape if so i recomend little plastic 1/4 inch clamps with screw hole. It looks like a promising grow. The light that was excaping into the tubes comes through the hydroton in the net pots itself, when the roots fill the pot it virtually goes away. Of course the caps you have on there would take care of this. I may try this.

Yeah the caps are cheap and from a local hydro store. The feed tube is attached to a small dripper stake and inserted into the net pot filled with hydroton where the stream of water is aimed to flow from the middle area of the pot over the rocks. Then I put the white cap over the top to shield light.
I'm kind of cheap at the moment with the white tape keeping the tubes in place and all. I can assure you though the tape is on there good. It has a really tacky adhesive that bonds to plastic very well. I'm going to cover the whole pvc pipe system on top with the white plastic roll soon to make it look a little better

Wow, very nice work. I just read both of your threads. I'm going to try not to play in the dirt. Time will tell, I'm a kid at heart. Dirt was all ways fun times.

what happened to the app. you had, you said you had to bounce do to the power spike.
Hows the new place?
How many amps are the 600w systems that you are running?
Have you tried the new nutes yet?

Ok enough of the questions...

Peace-

I run 8 600 watt lights off each timer there is some math i think it goes like this watts/volts=amps. But I just run a seperate breaker off the main breaker then I run to each timer of 8 lights. I tried running 10 lights of one breaker one time and it was getting hot so, it wasnt worth the risk to me, better safe then sorry.

Nice job comercial. Why u don't like soil? Quality weed for your self is always good news, but 52 pots for 1 person, is to much :) u must invite everyone on BIG party :)
How long you keep yours clone in prog, before u transfer them to soil and hydro?
Regards

Soil takes alot of work watering. Hydro is just really the only way to go on any comercial scale. It's easy to just drain and flush every week.

Clones stay usually for a month. I'm going to start keeping them in the aero cloner for 2+ months then tranfering them straight to the net pots and flowering to save time.

Com what size net pot do u use in yours prog and main system? And do u use same net pots in your prog, and after transfer them to main system, or u change them on bigger net pots?
Regards

Neither. The Aero cloner used 2'' neoprine inserts. So i go pull the clone after its rooted out of the insert, and put it in to the net pot.
