I live in CO too, none of my neighbors know that I grow because I grow INDOORS. The landlord doesn't even know.I keep my grow tent in my bedroom as well as a lock on the outside of my bedroom door. I also keep my harvested and cured bud in a 300 lb. 24 gun combination gun safe that is lag bolted to the floor. Security should be the #1 priority for growers. If it ever come down to it I could take down my grow tent in less than 20 minutes and there would be no trace that I grew. I keep 2 carbon filters , the intake going into my tent is scrubbed before it goes into the tent as well as another carbon filter hooked up inside the tent for extract. I also keep a quart size jar of ONA Fresh Linen with a 4" duct fan on top of it to blow Ona inside my bedroom.
There is NO smell whatsoever anywhere in my house as well as no outside smell. Inside growing is the safest way to grow. The bad thing about this greenhouse theft is if you start growing inside at this residence those teen thieves will know that that house has MMJ, and even if they didn't come back they most likely told their friends and now they know about the house as well. Growing outside has too many problems. I know that a lot of growers like to grow outside because they can get bigger yields and the sun being free they don't have to pay an electric bill for their grow. A lot of California MMJ growers like to grow one big massive harvest outdoors every year to tide them over to the next massive outdoor harvest, it's just too risky.
