Going to agree with Soil being much better than hydro. Taste is much better and potency can not be matched. As for the the SLH, well it did win 8 awards in just the last 2 years, and thats just at the Cannabis Cup Awards.

Yup, I agree too. That's why cannibis cup entrees grow in soil. For the best taste and potency

i wasnt saying that a 600 watt was more powerful! i was saying that 4- 600 watt lights will get more penetration than 2 -1000 watt lights...

I WASNT HATING ! far from it im here to converse with people about the wonderful world of growing cannabis.. sorry for the hostility if there was any taken by you :bigjoint: smoke it up.. ( i will always use 1000 watt lighting just so you know ;) )

ORGANC IS THE WAY TO GO!!!!

you guys should try using ADVANCED NUTRIENTS 100% organic IGUANA JUICE veg/bloom... it is a base nutrient and seems to be the way to go so far for organic growing! :weed:

I have used 1k hps lights. Had 5 down one row and 4 down the other. Well it stayed way too hot in the summer and thats with great venting and air conditioning. I never could turn on the 4 on one side. Stoned and forgot where I was going with this? None the less I use only 600hps because you can get it closer to the plant, even if you are using cool tubes,etc. Always keep light bleaching away is my point..... I think..... Man I am really stoned~ LA Confidential~

I like your thoughts on the lighting.. I have 1000's as well and have been thinking about converting to 3 600's for the overlap.. I have the older magnetic ballasts that run hot and would certainly go with the digi's that draw less as well..

Great grow, you're next investment should be solar panels ;)
