My LP experience so far

Hello everybody

I have heard and read plenty of horror stories involving some LP's and their service/medication (particularly Tweed and Peace Naturals), and thought my experience may help others in making the dreaded choice.

Beginning in March 1, 2014 - April 1, 2014, I contacted every licensed producer and asked them a variety of questions. For what it is worth, the only responses I received were from Canna Farms, Mettrum, Peace Naturals and Whistler Medical Marijuana Company. After narrowing down the field of prospective producers, I decided to sign up for WMMC for 3 months until July 2014, then begin with Canna Farms for a full year (solely based on a good friends experience with Canna Farms in BC, along with their prompt and friendly customer service).

I sent out my full application and medical documents to both producers on Friday April 4, 2014. By Wednesday the following week, I was contacted by Canna Farms stating they received my documentation and are currently working through it. WMMC called me personally and a rep confirmed my status. The rep also took an order on the spot and had it shipped out Thursday morning. I expect the medication to arrive tomorrow or Wednesday.

I will provide updates as to the quality/overall experience with these LP's. If anyone has had good or bad experiences with either WMMC or Canna Farms I would love to hear them.

I'm very suprized that Greenleaf didn't call you back. I've heard good things from them but yet to see anything written/experiences/products

Update:

Turns out my shipment came in yesterday while I was at work. I was unable to get pictures last night but I did manage to try 2 of the strains.

Blue Dream:
Very nicely cured. Didn't turn into dust in my hand, nor was it overly "wet" or "sticky". The smoke was very fruity and had a very energetic/active effect while managing my symptoms.

White Widow:
My order of 10g came in two nicely sized, solid buds. Once again, perfectly curred. I found the smoke was a tad bit more sour than the fruitiness of Blue Dream, although provided the desired effect. Not as much of an active high however.

Afghani Bullrider
I have not tried this strain yet, but from its looks and feel I can say that this one was a bit over cured, but had a very nice deep green and orange colour to it. I will provide update once I try it.

My last order was for Pink Kush, it was shipped out on Monday and with the crazy 2.5 day turnaround for delivery (they are located in Whistler I am located in Ontario) I expect it to arrive before Friday.

How would you compare it to your previous meds? Have you had these strains previously??

If you got these exact same buds from your previous source, would you notice a difference?

Sorry for the q's.....just curious, as I'm signed up for CF, and am eager to see the quality from the LP's in the west coast

Personally, I haven't tried any product from any Lp's as yet but have about a week to decide what place has the best reviews, so to speak.

Can't really answer your questions but I can say the buds from some clubs looked 'worked over' like they were depraved of any real crystals which I imagine went to concentrates etc.

Hope things went well with that Afghani Bullrider.

I wasn't referring to the quality of these meds vs another lp...I was referring to your past source, what ever that may have been

I was growing my own and compared to the compassion clubs, well, they didn't stand a chance in hell. They 'stole' all the 'sugar' from the nugs and made their concentrates from it. Other than a club, I've never tried an LP's stuff before.

This will change soon! :)

I have had two of the three strains before. The Blue Dream was exact if not better. The Pink Kush was leaps and bounds better. I consider myself knowledgable when looking/using the meds, but by no means an expert. I will try and post pictures this weekend…. of what remains lol

BTW… the pink kush came just recently, still havnt tried the Afghani BullRider

The packaging is a big plastic cylinder container with child proof caps. The marijuana is loose inside but come in nice buds. Shipping was included in the $10/g price at WMMC.

Once again, i swear one of these days i will take pictures. The long weekend has me preoccupied unfortunately
