My lost genetics, Cleaning up the seed collection

remaining chrystal tsunami seeds placed in refrigerator.

on a side note, one of the pre98 bubba seeds was already cracked when i placed it in a root riot. not getting my hopes up too much though. the last three i tried at least popped, just went no further. maybe the acid has done enough to break it on open.

the blue satelite, chronic and chrystal tsunami seeds will all get around 12-14 days to germinate. at that time, success or not, i will go for another 3 strains that i have doubts about.

ok, so looking though the seed list and come late february i will try these 3 next

1. Nirvana - White Widow
2. Cannaventure - Purple Berry BX
3. Cannabiogen - Pakistani Chitral Kush

should i get lucky on some strain and get a bunch of seeds to pop, i would like to grow each one out to see what it offers, males included. i have room, but it's not unlimited and i have other projects going, so... last night i was reading up on the ability to hold in stasis unrooted cuts, in a glass of water in the fridge. apparently this can be done for a month or two. awesome, i will probably end up trying that. in fact, i need to take a couple of cuttings and try it.

I do that. But I don't put em the fridge. I jus set em in my small cab I run seedlings in. Look up the kiss method for cloning. Just water in a glass. Change every day. And jus put it in like flowers in a vase. And once roots start coming out. Close off any light to the roots. And continue to change the water daily or every couple days. They will stay small. I keep males I want to flower out when I don't have room.

the method i am referring to doesn't root them. just barely if anything. keeping them in the fridge slows them way down, making them available for rooting in the future.

thanks for sharing your method

Bro this list of three is nice!

I had a Nirvana K2 and Hindu Kush, both were of the charts. Top Yield for that high Quality. Never thought nirvana was Quality before I tested it.
Was around 2005 or so.

The purple berry is intresting for me because I love the color soooo much!

About the PCK...
Had also PCK from Cannabiogen.
Mine was looking like sugared at the end. Even indoor buds were mostly purple. Taste and smell was pure afghan hash like. Very extreme strong smell.
I hoped more for a berry taste but thaha got hashish taste.
I crossed it with Qleaner.

I hope the purple berry will pop bro! :bigjoint:

Peace

last chronic seed sank also. just placed 3 in rockwool, 2 in root riots and 4 in paper towels.

scuffed up the chrystal tsunami and chunked those 4 in the GA3 solution.

the waiting game is on....:lol:

Beanhoarder at HEMP DEPOT made a shitload of PCK crosses several years back. I suspect the seeds being sold there now with PCK in them are freezer stored beans from that run. Their Jack / PCK had several different phenos, all of them at least good and some very good.

planted the chrystal tsunami seeds in rockwool.

now we wait to see if any of the 3 strains i have cooled, scuffed, soaked in GA3 and planted will germinate.

Good Luck Bro! Fingers crossed!!

I just soak the rest of the non viable Bizarre seeds in 1500+ ppm GA with some succanat added to the Solution for Enzymes and sugars. Just to get rid of the non viabels early. Dont want non viable shit in my seedbox anymore.

I am at 14 hr soaking right now.
Nothing cracked yet. Will let them go 24hr in there.
@ 1800 they will meet with wet papertowels but I only have lil hope.

Btw. Got Refund for the old Pack of Bizarre that reseller sold me.
He claims the new Seeds to be directly from the Breeder so I believe they are fresh. We will know soon.
They will go for a bath on 22./23. Feb.
Thats the next optimum lunar phase for flower bearing herbs.

@SourWreck

Here is what you asked for in my GA3 Thread....

1500 PPM ???? you mean 150?

interesting with the moonphases. i will have to look and see as i have been trying to pop beans for 3-4 weeks now.

went back and looked at the moonphase thing

with old seeds i planted 3 strains during good plant seed days, none of which germ'd.
also with old seeds i planted 1 strain during bad plant seed days, no success.

with new seeds, i planted 2 strains during good plant seeds days, 1 germinated

i also have 3 more strains waiting on germination that were planted on bad plant days.

will keep track, especially with new seeds

I mean 1500ppm Bro.
They got the real shitz now haha.
But no one cracked. Lmao
Yesterday I also put some reference seeds into a 1500ppm solution, just to see what happens.
The reference Seeds I use germinate under nearly every conditions. Its a mix of my crosses from two years ago. Will get them out of the jar and into the papertowel in a couple of hours.

Cant wait to see what they do

let me know how the reference seeds do in that strong solution

my new pre98 bubba seeds must have a really tough shell... :-(

1500ppm makes things not looking much better .... no cracked shell or tails on the old Bizarre.
Btw. Got refund for the old Pack by the reseller.
I love this Auatrians they are just big hearted people in my Book now.

The reference Beans went in papertowels. Had no cracked shells or tail either.
Werent the best beans in the Reference seed bag but let them go a few days and we know more.

About the moonphase thing.....
I believe that, when planted on good days, not even the germination process is kinda eased.... I think this method somehow synchronice the plants biorhythm of the plant with natures bigger biorhythms.

Human example
If you are used to work at daytime ...
Humans do just that naturally work at day sleep at night.
Now look what happens if you work nightshifts insted of dayshifts.
Your Biorhythm is completly fucked up for the first days. You will get used to it after some time but never totaly. Your Biorhythm will always try to skip back to the day/work night/sleep thing as soon as possible.
Because its the natural rhythm.

Consens is for me that only a plant that is synchron with the natural rhythm, will be able to take greater advantage out of natures powers and rhythms. And will therefor have an easier more stress free life.
Just my 2 Cents. Just my guesses.

Peace
