GTH and sour bubble would be something to see. It would be a real hybrid.

have a tiny bit of Matanuska Thunderfuck left. another fav !!!!

went to Denver in Sept and came home with Green Crack, Durban Poison, GTH, Roor Beer Kush, SFV OG, among others.

trying to add a really deadly couch lock indica to my stable right now. got MK-ultra in flower.

Holy sounds like a fun year of crosses you have planned ahead. I used to grow couchlock by BCSC around 2000. It was something else. Got stuck watching my TV guide for an hour on a few occasions. Lol

i love it when i get stuck looking at TV and holding my bong. then what seems like 30 mins later i realize i am just holding the bong.

yup should be an awesome year....

off to a good start with mk-ultra, bogglegum and gth. dropped pre-98 bubba kush and gorilla glue #1 seeds a couple nights ago.

ahah, nice. I'm sure that will be select. I plan on finding some headbanger pollen and using it for a few crosses myself. There really needs to be a "headbanger" thread going. Good luck with yours, mate!

This is some good info about seed storage & popping old seed stock. I hope I can get these to sprout. image.jpg

so this morning i put a blue satellite seed in the fridge. tonight, i put it into a small plastic vial that i had lined with a rolled up piece of sandpaper. i rattled the seed around a bit to scuff it up.

now its sitting in a shot glass of water. when it sinks, it will go into a root riot.

    fingers crossed

A sweet experiment for popping old beans would be to try a couple different methods & compare them.

    For science!

When it sprouts are you going to yell "its alive!!" Like in Frankenstein? Lol. Im confident that you will have it bursting from the root riot plug :)

the seed sank this morning when i touched it. just got done putting it in a root riot. look swollen.

on a side note, i planted pre-98 bubba seeds 4-5 days ago and nothing was happening. 2 of the 3 gorilla glue #1 beens i planted the day after those are already above ground.

so i opened each root riot up to see the tap root trying to pop the seed coating and struggling. with my reading glasses on, lol, i took an exacto knife and cut ever so slightly into each seed on the joint. in each case the seed coating popped and the tap jumped out a bit. carefully put each back into the root riot. should have success on all 3 i believe.

did the same thing to the last GG1 seed also.

and i just added 1 chronic f2 to the fridge

do you have good success starting seeds in root riots?

I did this a few times, and felt like I had really bad results with it. Curious what others have found

my very first attempt. i was told to make sure seed did not drop down the hole too far, so i was careful and am happy so far. root out the bottom of both GG1 seeds. quicker than rockwool i am thinking.
