You guys that have run the Inda-gro's before, what kind of weight were you ultimately able to pull?

I have never had a cut of a strain that is known to be a big yielder. Everything I have flowered has been from seed or cuts I've made from those seeds.
We obviously all want big yields but I can tell quality is going to be first in such a competitive marketplace and for personal use.
The strains I've had with bigger buds did not anywhere near pack the kick or flavor of the Sweet Black Angel I am growing.
My family members and I also have a theory that it is good to have something new that no one else local has growing. Great for new flavors and helping those that build tolerance to whats floating around.

I think all of the gr/watt talk going on around these forums needs to be taken with a grain of salt

I do have female seeds ICE coming up that is supposed to yield big? Changing my growing technique around a bit though trying different things to see what works best for me.

Here's the beautiful Sweet Black Angel girl in all her glory at day 57

Someone was asking how close to the light the plants can grow. with the 100's right up to it

Productive evening -
Got these Sweet Black Angels broken down on drying
SbaBreakdown.jpg

C99 needs a few more days so I had to improvise and plumb up another bucket and squeeze it in the main flower box with the Ice and Lemon Kush plants that came out form under the 100's
IceKushC99.jpg

Changing up the program on the next batch going into flower. I'm running 9 Sweet Black Angel but with the buckets full of hydroton to reduce the water capacity needed to flood all nine. Also, these only got about 3 weeks veg after rooting and wont be topped or altered in any way other than cleaning the scruff up off the bottom

While many are intrigued by the Induction Technology, I am still trying to figure out how a light that supposedly has no power on paper continues to produce a cabinet full of beautiful buds.
Lemon Kush and Ice with C99 stuck in the middle for a few more days of finishing

Anyone else had C99 go 65+ days? This is from seed not clone

C99 is one of my favorites. Mine were always done in 7-8 weeks. How many watts per square feet are you at?

Do you know which C99 pheno it is?

That Indogrow looks decent.

If you want to be technical I am running just the single 420 fixture with pontoon (460w) in a 5x5 so 18.4w per square ft. But I do move and rotate my plants regularly to take advantage of the light from all directions.

Remind me again what the know pheno's are on the Female seeds C99 - It has been a while since I grew out the rest of the seed pack but this is the first one since I added the led pontoon to the 420 fixture and the buds are waaaaay bigger and chunkier. It has a kind of old pineapple or over ripe canaloup smell to it if you ask me.

That 18w per square foot might be your culprit for extended grow time.

I've only grown C99 under a 400w HPS (close to 60w per sq ft) same Female Seeds too. Though I have grown other strains under the same 400w, and also a cheap Chinese LED, and the cheap LED added at least 2-3 weeks to the grow time, that was going by the seller's footprint recommendation.

The phenos I've came across with the C99 was the pineapple one you mentioned, and the other was more of a standard weed smell, but had subtle fruity undertones, reminded me of Hi-C fruit punch.

I liked the pineapple one best.

I have other strains that I have ran in a smaller area with the same light before increasing the square footage and they are still finishing in the same time. This C99 just kept making new pistils and is finally coming to a halt now. I'm going to just chalk it up to being from seed rather than clone. Either way it looks bomb

I bought a 10 pack from Attitude a couple years ago, they were all done in 8 or less weeks. But that doesn't mean if I got another 10 pack, 1 or more of the seeds could run longer. That's the nature of growing from seed.

I bought a 5 pack of a mostly sativa strain once, supposed to be 12 weeks. 4 of them went 12-13 weeks, one was pushing 20 weeks before it was done. The 20 weeker was really good smoke, but that really threw my growing schedule off.

Ok, at day 66 now for this C99 and it is coming down after a lights out rest.
Was letting the lowers get as ripe as possible and I think this is the point where it's a balanced harvest - tops maybe tad over ripe for C99 and lowers a tad under.

A little garden update:
My 9 pack of Sweet Black Angel's are on day 11 of 12/12 and filling out nicely. A cuts where a bit of runts but doing well now
9SbaDay11.jpg

And a finished C99 Nug - definitely not the densest herb but very nice smoke
C99Nug.jpg

Also loaded my next 9 rooted Sweet Black Angels into the veg cab so getting things rolling for the next round

Ok, update time.
I know I need more wattage in my 5x5 to get max results and cash is beyond tight right now so a buddy hooked me up with a complete Air cooled 1000w hps system for free. I would have probably added a second 420/pontoon combo but like I said - budget issues. Plus i have never personally flowered anything under hps so it will give me a good base for what everyone here in the led forum is really trying to beat.
My upcoming Ice/Lemon Kush will spend their final 3 weeks or so under the hps.

I moved the 420/pontoon to my "Pre-flower" area and the 9 Sweet Black Angel's I have going really seem to be appreciating the increase in intensity for flower initiation
9SBADay16.jpg

This also allowed me to move the pair of IG 100's to my Veg area and eliminated the 100w Metal Halide's. So overall everything has been improved in my system with a to be determined approach on my main flower box. Will I like the HPS and stay that route or opt to put a pair of 420/pontoon's when finances are available? Or Some other new Led that hits the market in the mean time? One note of interest that many may find interesting is that the 1K HPS with a dedicated cooling duct is contributing less heat to my grow area than the 420/pontoon :o

That dedicated cooling circuit and the cost to cool it would be what makes the difference there. The 420/Pontoon @ 460 watts adds about 1600 btu/hr compared to a 1000 watt with electronic ballast @ around 3500 btu/hr. Plants are looking mighty nice!
