My Inda-gro Adventures

Just wanted to say hello and share some of the growing I have been doing the last year or so with Inda-gro lighting. Would love to compare experiences with others using this technology as I am always looking to improve upon yield, quality, etc.

Most of what is shown below was finished under a single Pro420par fixture in a 3'x4' space.
I have recently added the pontoon and will post on that when my current cycle comes to an end.
I have a pair of the 100W fixtures that I veg under as well as some T5's for seedlings and clones.

Strains I have ran:
Delicious Seeds LaDiva
Samsara Seeds Ultaviolet Auto

Samsara Seeds Sweet Black Angel (Highly recommend)
World of Seeds Obsession
Female Seeds C99
Bomb Seeds Cluster Bomb

Yes, they are great lights. Expensive but I think under-rated in the lower wattages. Especially for vegging. I can light a 3'x4' area very well with the pair of 100W fixtures and grow up some HUGE plants.
Hopefully if nothing else this thread just ads more info accumulated for those looking into induction lights.

For those that have read about but aren't quite sure what the pontoon accessory is, it looks like this:Pontoon.jpg
And lays right over top of the light fixture.

I haven't seen anyone else share what the pontoon only looks like over plants, here is how it saturated the plants during lights on operation with the induction off:PontoonON.jpg

And the pontoon and Induction on together:

So far with the pontoon I am noticing harder buds especially in the lower areas of the plant. And the pistils seem to turn color sooner. I have noticed a faster ripening of the trichs yet but I'm looking forward to see if there is any generally observed density or weight increase.

For those others with the 420/pontoon setup, are you able to get good coverage on a 5x5 with a single fixture as I was told it could cover with the pontoon? If the results are good I may build a 5x5 for a few extra sq ft

Any clue on GpW? What size soace are you lighting with the one 420

Edit*

I see 12 sq foot which isn't bad at all. How many plants?

I have been yielding around 7oz per 3 plant harvest.
As you can see in those last pics I am not fully utilizing every sq inch and that is something I will be working on.
My goal is to be able to pull 1lb off of a single 420 with pontoon. I think it is doable with proper plant placement/training

Space is 3'x4' (12sq ft) currently
I have been able to hit 3oz per plant every time with Samsara Seeds Sweet Black Angel. Topped, not topped - doesn't seem to matter.
I let some cuttings of that go to a fellow med user that grew it out and supposedly had it tested at a club in oregon and it came back 24%
I will probably make my first attempt at pushing the numbers up by running 6 of those untopped in hydro. Theoretically would be 18oz but reality may dictate differently lol

Just wanted to share a little discovery after adding the pontoon to a ind-gro 420 for approximately the last 4.5 weeks of flower on my latest harvest.
I have been running this recirculating dwc system for the past year with no algae growth problems what so ever.
The led's on the pontoon clearly have the intensity to make it through the old homer bucket and cause algae growth.

The bucket looks a bit translucent in that pic too... Going to switch to black?

I am actually going to be dropping to 2 gallon buckets in an ebb and flow configuration. I will cover them with an inverted 5 gal grow bag or something to be sure they are light tight.
I have been reconfiguring things and do to some temp issues the dwc is not going to be easy to keep cool so the ebb and flow should do the trick since I can keep the res outside of the grow space.

Couldn't have got my new flower box pretty much together soon enough.
Just harvested and now using my previous 3x4 flowering space as a drying only area.
New box is 5x5, Still a single 420 with pontoon
What do you do when everyone seems to want clones when you don't have them, but then you make a batch and they all hide? - Flower them out lol

My veg box is out of control and I have to get these 5 that I have been mainlining into my preflower area under a pair of inda-gro 100's
I have a total of three areas and the plan is to always have something staggered at 4-5 week intervals

Cluster Bomb must have got them memo that it is outa here and really decided to step up it's game as far as bud structure after adding the pontoon.
Sweet Black Angel is doing that thing she does so consistently
This is day 34 from flip to 12/12 on these. Rooted clones topped once and flowered
Sorry for the less than perfect phone photography

Right on schedule - these should be ready for flower in 4 weeks or sohydroseedlings4:23:15.jpg

Sloppy mainliners 9 days into 12/12. These are in a 3x4 right now but will be moved into a 5x5 under the 420 with pontoon in approx 4 weeksmainlined4:23:15.jpg

A little update -
Couple days short of week 7 on flowered clones
sogwk7.jpg

Bomb Seeds Cluster Bomb at week 7 - This strain was leafy shit the first round and one I stuck out in my greenhouse, some reason bud structure is much better with the addition of the pontoon
ClusterBombwk7.jpg

2 weeks into flower on these 5 that I attempted to mainline. The 100W Inda-gro's are the true workhorses in my opinion. The 2 shown here are rockin it over a 3'x4' area

Yep, another 2 1/2 weeks or so she says lol

Any of you nutrient guru's have any thoughts on the leaf issue on that plant? I have adjusted up and down on strengths with that strain to no avail. I believe it is a calcium deficiency the way it starts out.
The other strain next to it is fed just the same and shows no issues
